Solebury School Day Camp allows young people to explore a variety of activities, to learn and to discover. Campers participate in activities such as swimming, sports, art, science, computers every day. Each week has a larger event to provide campers with a special experience. These include trips, a carnival, Spirit Week, a Talent Show, and the annual Campout. Prizes are awarded for fair play, kindness, and participation. The Solebury School believes that at these ages, campers should be encouraged to try new things, that beyond teaching them skills in the various activities, it is their job to teach them how to be part of a group and to work together.

Registration is flexible as families can sign up for any combination of weeks. Their youngest campers are 4 years old, and the oldest are entering 7th grade. To ensure safety, there is a 3 to 1 camper to staff member ratio. A professional chef prepares a wonderful lunch (both hot items and a full salad and deli bar) and 2 snacks each day for all the campers (all peanut free). Afternoon care is available for an extra charge. Come and spend the summer with Solebury School and see why their campers return each summer!

Central Bucks Family YMCA offers experiences in traditional day camp for prekindergarten through 7th graders, teen camps, half day sports and specialty camps including archery, cooking, movie making, writing, photography, BOTS, fishing and more. PicMonkey CollagePainted Dreams Farm summer camps give children between the ages of 6 and 16 the opportunity to participate in the world of horses.  Summer camp students learn not only horse riding skills, but emphasis is placed on horsemanship skills that develop riders into safe, responsible, and educated equine enthusiasts.  They strive to create riders that understand equine instinct and behaviors — a skill that will allow them to become excellent communicators with their mounts, even as a beginner, to create enhanced self esteem, and value teamwork and sportsmanship.

Summer Camp Safety is their highest priority.  At summer camp, great emphasis is placed on matching the rider with his/her mount to create the most beneficial learning environment.

They also offer 2 weeks of advanced level riding summercamps, as well as an intensive CIT (Counselor in Training) upper level program.

Summer camp students have the opportunity to ride horses twice a day.

Horsemanship classes are taught daily, including approaching and leading your mount, grooming, understanding types of tack, horse and pony bathing, feed and nutrition, understanding different riding disciplines, horse and pony breeds, mane and tail braiding, horse and pony colors, and basic veterinary care. Camp staff is CPR and First Aid Certified and there is a certified Life Guard on staff.

Every Friday, the children invite their family and friends to watch as they show their stuff in our Friendly Camp Horse Show free of charge.
