Memorial Day Ceremonies

Bristol Borough Memorial Day Ceremony
When: Monday, May 30 at 9:30am
What: The Robert W. Bracken American Legion Post 382 in Bristol Borough will hold Memorial Day observances on Monday, May 30 beginning at 9 a.m. at the Harriman Monument on the corner of Farragut Avenue and Monroe Street. Observances will follow at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mark’s Church on Radcliffe Street, 10 a.m. at St. James Church (Walnut and Cedar Streets) and 11 a.m. at the Bristol Cemetery and Route 13.

Hulmeville Memorial Day Ceremony
When: Saturday, May 28 at 2pm
Where: Memorial Park, Bellevue Ave. and Neshaminy St., Hulmeville PA
What: Speeches and live music. Sponsored by the Penndel-Hulmeville Historical Society.

Warrington Township’s Memorial Day Ceremony
When: Saturday, May 28 at 11am
Where: Igoe Porter Wellings Memorial Field, 3095 Bradley Rd, Chalfont, PA
What: Annual ceremony is sponsored by Warrington Township and the Veteran affairs council.

Washington Crossing Memorial Day Observance
When: Sunday, May 29 at 1pm
Where: Washington Crossing Historic Park
This event will be held at the gravesite of the Continental Soldiers will include war re-enactors, a colonial color guard, Old Barracks Fife and Drum corps, and the Guardians of the National Cemetery Firing Party, Daughters of the American Revolution, veterans, Boy Scouts, and other honored guests. During the event, American flags will be placed on the graves.

When: Monday, May 30 at 9am
Where: The Newtown Commons West building on Newtown-Yardley Road. Ceremony will follow after parade.

Penndel-Hulmeville Memorial Day Parade
When: Saturday, May 28, 2016 from 9:00am to 12:00pm
Where: From Ford Ave in Hulmeville, follows Main Street, Hulme Street, and Bellevue Ave continues into Penndel to Crescent Street, Hulmeville Ave to the Penndel Recreation Field.

Quakertown Memorial Day Parade
When: Monday May 30th at 9am
Where: From 9th street to Memorial Park in Quakertown

Sellersville Memorial Day Parade
When: Monday, May 30 2016 10am
Where: The parade route begins on South Main Street at East Grandview Avenue and proceeds to North Main Street & Temple Avenue; from Temple Avenue to the Lake Lenape Park entrance located off Walnut Street. Immediately following the parade there will be a ceremony at the War Memorial.

Tullytown Boro Memorial Day Parade
When: Saturday, May 282016 at 12pm
What: Tullytown Boro will be hosting it annual memorial day parade starting 12pm and going from Mankraft to the Tullytown boro building. Following the parade a brief service to honor all the past and still servicing members of our armed services. There will be a free concert that night in the Tullytown park.

Warminster Memorial Day Parade
When: Monday, May 30 at 10am ceremony parade following directly after

Memorial Day BBQ and Fireworks at Sesame Place
When: May 28-29 2016 at 5:00PM and 7:30PM and May 30, 2016 at 5:00PM in Big Bird’s Riverside Pavilion
Where: Sesame Place, 100 Sesame Road, Langhorne, PA
What: Open air BBQ in Big Birds Riverside Pavilion followed by a fireworks show on Saturday and Sunday evenings. Adult (ages 10 & up) $29, Child (ages 2-9) $9, Children 23 months and younger are free but require a reservation.

Memorial Day Pancake Breakfast
When: Monday, May 30 from 7am-Noon

Community Pancake Breakfast at Salem

Memorial Day Weekend Salute to the Troops
When: May 28th – 29th
Where: Foxwood Manor, 1596 Turkey Trot Road, Jamison, PA
What: The Bucks County Designer House & Gardens, sponsored by the Village Improvement Association of Doylestown, announces free House Tours for military members, veterans and Gold Star Family members and half-price entry for one companion on Memorial Day Weekend, May 28-29. Present a military or Veterans ID to gain free entry for the military member (a $30 value) and half price entry ($15) for one companion.
