Bucks County is full of artisans, small business owners, artists, and purveyors who continue to stay true to the mission of #lovelocal. The success of a local commerce is critical for a stronger local economy, which supports schools, local infrastructures and public assets. Every year, the Bucks Locavore ~ Buy Local event embodies this, celebrating and promoting independent, locally owned businesses in and around Bucks County, PA.   The event offers awareness to the community of what's available to them in their own backyard. Featuring over 40 of the region’s top food and beverage purveyors, the 9th annual event is hosted again this year by Superior Woodcraft. Over seven hundred guests are expected to gather at Superior Woodcraft on Thursday, February 22nd, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

There is a new community-service oriented spin to this buy local event this year. The Bucks County Housing Group’s Community Food Pantry at Doylestown will be on hand to collect donations of canned and dry food goods.
