What little things totally transform your day in a positive way? #SelfCare is something I talk about a lot, but wasn’t doing enough about. I do acknowledge the little acts of self-care {there’s a whole ep about it on @imperfect_health_podcast} like making nourishing meals, spending time outside, watching trash TV when my brain needs a rest #noshame . But when I *really* committed to head back to personal training a month ago, it totally changed my entire Tuesday. Training at 7:30 means I have to take Coop to daycare earlier – so I do wake up with a tad bit of mom guilt. However, I wake up earlier, enjoy coffee that’s actually hot, get that stress relief I need to start the day, and can start working before 9 like I actually should. I have a more productive day and am able to shut down work earlier, which means more engaged fam time. Oh, and obviously I’m feeling stronger, too, which was the whole point in the beginning! Having trouble carving out “me time”? Find someone or something to hold you accountable! Start with one day and then let it motivate the same actions other days, too. Happy Tuesday! . 📷 @quartermoonco . . . #momfitness #metime #bestwaytostarttheday #dietitiansofig #rdchat #nutritionentrepreneur #mompreneur #momswholift #buckscountyfitness #phillyfit #tuesdayvibes
