This month, Bucks Happening is celebrating the holidays by bringing you the 12 Days of Christmas! Each weekday from December 1st through December 16th, we’ll cover something amazing about the holiday season in Bucks County- sites to see, happening holidays events, the best local gifts, and all sorts of other goodies.

On the 9th Day of Christmas, we celebrate the gift of “Ladies Dancing” with holiday entertaining in Bucks County.

Below is a picture from The Pennsylvania School of the Performing Arts performing their annual holiday show, The Snowman, which took place at Bucks County Community College on December 10th.

If you missed The Snowman this year, there's still time to catch a beautiful holiday dance performance in Bucks this year. On Saturday, December 18th at both 11:00 am and 3:00pm as well as Sunday, December 18th at 12:00pm and 4:00pm, The Dance Theatre of Pennsylvania returns with its acclaimed production of The Nutcracker at Central Bucks High School South.

After sell-out crowds last season, the Doylestown-based ballet company will again present four shows of the two-act, Tchaikovsky ballet. Staged by artistic director Marilyn Budzynski, the production will feature more than 35 Dance Theatre members, plus guest artists from some of the country’s top ballet companies. Range from $15 to $35, $5 discount for children 12 and under (not applicable to $15 ticket), groups of 10 or more receive $2 discount per ticket Purchase tickets by visiting our website www.dtopa.org.
