Bucks County Community College has been bringing unique cultural events to the region for more than 50 years. Spring of 2019 is no exception. This season, Bucks Live! will present a myriad of cultural events on the Newtown Campus.

Offerings for the spring include musical treats from Broadway to Bluegrass, Jazz to Blues, and more. There are also theater events, poetry readings, and the new Cultural Streaming Series, bringing large-as-life video screenings of performances from opera houses and stages around the world.

“Bucks Live! programs were launched four years ago to bring more diverse events to Newtown, and it keeps growing every year, “ said Pete Chiovarou, director of community programming and college events. “Thanks to the support of the community, we’re becoming a larger presence each season as we become known for bringing affordable shows to Bucks County that you can’t see without traveling to a large city.”
