Since 1949, the people of Bucks County [and beyond] have flocked to Delaware Valley College for an event known as A-Day. For those who don't know, A-Day [short for Activities Day] is a three-day sanctioned state fair held in the spring at Delaware Valley College.

Like many state fairs, there is something for everyone. You can find your staple fair foods such as burgers, chicken and fries, funnel cake, popcorn, and cotton candy. You can be prepared to see booths, rides, informational displays, animals, crafters, and so much more.

Now, you may be thinking “What makes this fair stand out for others?” While you can find many state fairs that have similar events and food, you probably cannot find many state fairs planned and run entirely by students. The benefits of this fair go toward the A-Day Scholarship Fund, which goes to students who are actively involved with A-Day, meet a minimum GPA requirement, and are selected by the A-Day Committee.
