Everyone has their favorite season, or time of the day in Bucks County.  “Day’s End” captures moments of lengthening shadows, sunset palettes and bright constellations. Spring, summer, fall or winter evenings are illuminated by a splash of light from a cottage window or the soft glow of moonlight.

The “Core Four” artists of the Silverman Gallery: Joseph Barrett, Alan Fetterman, Jennifer Hansen Rolli and John Kane have assembled this group of recent paintings. Featured are impressions of late afternoons and evenings, such as “Farm in Snow” by Yardley native Jennifer Hansen Rolli – a peaceful scene, the deep turquoise night dotted with stars. “Lambertville” by Lahaska’s Joseph Barrett is a busy street from the past, lit by both streetlights and the glowing sky.

This special group exhibit begins with an artists’ reception, open to the public, on Saturday night, September 15th, 2012, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. For more information, call 215-794-4300 or visit the Silverman Gallery website. The gallery is located in Buckingham Green on Route 202, Holicong, PA. Regular gallery hours are Tues.-Sat. 10 am – 5:30 pm.
