A Fun Night Out at the Grand Opening of The Artist Cellar in Yardley

Art meets entertainment at the brand new business on Main Street in Yardley- introducing The Artist's Cellar. This brand new BYOB “Paint and Sip” studio takes painting parties, both public and private, to the next level.

While the doors opened this August, the community is invited to celebrate at the Grand Opening Party on Saturday, September 6^thfrom 1:00pm to 4:00pm complete with painting demonstrations, entertainment from magician and illusionist Joe Holiday, and a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Mayor and other city officials. There will be light food and drinks, and fun for the whole family including coupons so you can have your own painting party experience.

Mary Jane Martin, owner of The Artist's Cellar and long time teacher, believes that everyone has talent and can come away from one of their parties with a work of art that they can be proud of, but perhaps the greatest work of art will be the beautiful memories they create with family and friends.

Novice paint parties are sweeping the country, and Mary Jane is passionate about bringing the concept to Bucks County. She explains, “I liked the concept; it is a fun night out. I wanted to bring an upscale flair to it that would fit into the vibe of this area.” The studio fits up to 40 people very comfortably and is equipped with a high tech sound system and video monitors so you can be sure to easily follow the expert artists.

Whether you're looking for a unique date night, a fun girls night out, or the perfect event to enjoy with co-workers, booking your paint party experience is easy. You can visit The Artist's Cellar calendar to browse through dozens of upcoming events, and choose your event based on the painting that you would like to create. Reservations can be booked either online or over the phone.

In addition to their busy line-up of classes, The Artist’s Cellar will also be offering private parties for adults and children ages 7 and up. To personalize your event, their talented artists will work with you to create a painting that is unique to your occasion. The local chapter of the Susan G. Komen charity has an upcoming fundraiser and wanted their painting to reflect their cause. “One of our artists ran with their vision and created a beautiful “Tree of Life” canvas…… it is amazing what they can do!” Mary Jane is looking forward hosting additional fundraisers or, “Painting With a Purpose” ! Recreating an original piece of art is a novel, yet fun way to raise money and awareness for any cause.”

Once you've booked your seat, pick up some snacks and refreshments from one of the many options on Main Street. The folks at the Artist's Cellar will provide the rest; glasses, plates, silverware, and of course art supplies!
