penn manor beer dinnerDo you enjoy a great brew? And love the rich history of Bucks County? Well, on June 22, 2013, there is an awesome new beer event in town that you'll want to check out.

Visit the picturesque 43-acres of William Penn's 17th century country estate and enjoy the tastings of local beer and food by JustFood. Dishes from Gulielma Penn's recipe book will be recreated, such as Chicken Fricassee over sweet corn & parsnip pancakes, peachwood smoked pulled pork on brioche, apple cranberry bread pudding, and macaroons.

Brewfest-LogoGuests will get to wander the grounds to watch 17th and 18th Century beer brewing demonstrations, enjoy the sounds of strolling musicians, take a walk through the gardens, tour the Manor House, or simply relax along the banks of the Delaware River.

Tickets are $75 per person and $25 for designated driver. Ticket price includes beer (except for the designated driver ticket), food, demonstrations, tour of the Manor House, parking, souvenir mug, and entertainment. Event will be held rain or shine. No one under 21 will be admitted. Must present valid ID at door.

Proceeds from the event will benefit The Pennsbury Society, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, who helps to support Pennsbury Manor and ensure that it continues to grow and succeed in its mission of education. Proceeds help support school programs, and 80 different cultural programs per year that range from family-oriented festival days to garden workshops, distance learning, preschool events, and living history demonstrations.
