Bucks County Community College invites the public to “An Evening with Author/Entrepreneur Lisa Scottoline” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 25, at the Newtown Campus.

The Event

Lisa Scottoline will speak for an hour. Following her talk, she will be available for a book signing of her latest title, After Anna. Event attendees will receive a free copy of the book. However, supply is limited.

The event is a preview for the college’s second-annual Women’s Summit on Entrepreneurship. The summit consists of a full day of speakers and workshops from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday, October 26, at the Upper Bucks Campus in Perkasie. Click here to learn more about the Summit.

“An Evening with Lisa Scottoline” takes place in the Linksz Pavilion, located on the campus at 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown, Pa., where there is ample free parking. Tickets are $35 and can be purchased online at www.bucks.edu. For more information, call 215-968-8227.

About the Author

Scottoline is a New York Times bestselling author of 31 novels. She also writes a weekly column with daughter Francesca Serritella for the Philadelphia Inquirer titled “Chick Wit,” a witty and fun take on life from a woman’s perspective.

Scottoline began her legal career with a clerkship for President Judge Edmund B. Spaeth, Jr. of the Pennsylvania Superior Court. When the clerkship ended, she joined Dechert, Price & Rhoads in Philadelphia as an associate. In 1986, she left the firm to raise her newborn daughter and began writing legal fiction part-time. Her writing career began with her first best-selling novel, Everywhere That Mary Went, published in 1994 by HarperCollins Publishers. More than two-dozen top-selling titles followed.
