Only a few weeks left of summer- make them count!

Check out the Bucks Happening weekend guide below, and as always, check out our calendar, summer guide, & restaurant guide for more fun ideas.

Don't miss out on all the fun at this year's Grange Fair, running through Sunday, August 21st.   The Fair builds upon Bucks County’s rich tradition as a farming community, offering visitors a glimpse at antique farm equipment, showcasing just about every kind of farm animal (horses, cows, sheep, pigs), and hosting a variety of agricultural-themed competitions throughout the week.

Help support a great cause at the Autism Cares Foundation Music Event at Crossing Vineyards & Winery. Enjoy award winning wines while listening to live Jazz on August 21st, 4-6pm. The music event will be held under an outdoor tent, rain or shine. There is open sitting on the lawn but bring a lawn chair! Wine and soft drinks are available on site as well as cheese plates. Cost is $25 in advance or $35 at the door. $10 of every ticket sold will go directly to the foundation.

This weekend, there are a couple options to help your favorite furry friends. First, enjoy Tail Waggin’ Times at Fonthill, a day of fun that includes a special dedication to Henry Mercer’s favorite pet and best friend, “Rollo,” dog costume parade/contest, craft activities, special limited edition tile, and canine service vendors. The event will take place on August 21st, from 12:30-4:30 pm. Participants include Chesapeake Bay Retriever Rescue, Bucks SPCA, Holiday House Pet Resort, others. Free access to grounds; purchase tickets to participate in crafts and special activities.

Also, on Saturday, August 20th, dine at the Temperance House in Newtown to Help a Homeless Pet. All day, they'll be donating 10% of our Lunch and Dinner Proceeds to the Bucks County SPCA in honor of International Homeless Animal Day.

Miss the Bucks County Playhouse? Well, they're back…kinda.  Stephen Casey, former Artistic Director at the Bucks County Playhouse, will present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” at the New Hope Arts Center this August. In addition to Mr. Casey, the audience will be treated to performances by many familiar faces from recent seasons of the Bucks County Playhouse including Tressa McCallister Scibilia, Lauren Renahan, Peter Martino and Catherine Logan.  Running for 5 performances from Thursday, August 18th through Sunday, August 21st, shows are Thursday (8pm), Friday (8pm), Saturday (2pm and 8pm) and Sunday (2pm). Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased by calling 267-798-9165. New Hope Arts Center is located at 2 Stockton Avenue in New Hope, PA.

Also Saturday, the popular Ivyland dining spot, Tony's Bar & Grill (check out their awesome pretzel bites here) is celebrating their 5th Anniversary with a complimentary Pig Roast on the patio, a Steel Drum Band, complimentary wine and craft beer tastings,  complimentary Stoli vodka cocktail tastings, drink specials, raffles and prizes from 2pm to 6pm.
