Great Big House
Triumph Brewing Company, 400 Union Square, New Hope
Starts at 10:00pm

Great Big House was started in late 2001/early 202 by friends in and around the music department at Millersville University. Starting out playing places on campus, the band has slowly gained a following, playing jam and classic rock covers along with original music. Branching out from Lancaster, the band now plays regularly from Central PA to Philadelphia to Maryland. While the line up has changed many times since the beginning, the band has always kept the reputation for packed audiences and fun performances! This is a free performance.

Starts at 8:00pm (showings also on October 6th and 7th, 1:00pm & 4:00pm)

Joseph Robinette, working with the advice of E.B. White, has created a play that captures this work in a thrilling and utterly practical theatrical presentation.  All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.”  Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the “miracle” of her web in which she writes, “Some pig.”  This is a beautiful, thoughtful play that will enchant your family. One weekend only

This weekend is also popular for Oktoberfests, with events starting Friday! We would recommend checking out our Bucks County Oktoberfest Guide to get the full experience.
