The American Farm from Family to Factory
Feldman 113, Delaware Valley College, 700 E. Butler Ave, Doylestown

Join the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance and Delaware Valley College for The American Farm from Family to Factory, a roundtable discussion on the fate and future of livestock production. The evening will feature local farmers as well as Delaware Valley College faculty. This event is open to the public.

Gary Ho Ho Hoey
Sellersville Theater, 24 W Temple Ave, Sellersville

Gary Hoey’s biggest hit was the cover of Focus’ “Hocus Pocus” and he’s maintained his status as a fiery guitarist with a series of albums heavy on riffage while upholding the basic rock n roll values of melodies, hooks and heart. Surf Guitar King Dick Dale (with whom he’s shared the Sellersville stage) proclaimed Gary his favorite modern guitarist. Expect a show filled with holiday classics from the popular Ho! Ho! Hoey Christmas albums including his latest plus selections from his forthcoming Deja Blues.

Toy-Giving Extravaganza
PT Transformations, 400 Mill St, Bristol

Join PT Transformations for a “Toy-Giving Extravaganza” as WBCB 1490AM does their remote radio broadcast on Friday, Nov. 30 from 2 -5 pm!  Drop off a new, unwrapped toy for local area children and check out the festivities! Special Guests include Jeff Manto and members of the Bristol Borough Business Association. Donations will be accepted at PTT until December 8th.

All the World Sings Nowell

Join Bucks County’s premier chamber chorus, Cantus Novus, for its 2012-13 season under the artistic direction of John P. Leonard, with a celebration of music from around the world, All the World Sings Nowell; a joyous and diverse program spanning centuries and geography.

Parfumerie
McCoole's Arts & Events Place, 10 S. Main St, Quakertown

Pargumie, the play that inspired the movies The Shop Around the Corner with James Stewart, You've Got Mail with Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan; and the Tony award winning musical “She Loves Me.” This warm comedy follows the tangled tale of George Horvath and his fellow employees of a Parfumerie in pre-war Budapest. Days before Christmas, George's employer fires him after mistakenly suspecting him to be his wife' lover. Meanwhile, George's only hope at a happy life are dashed when he discovers that the stranger he has fallen in with through secret correspondence is none other than Amalia, the coworker with whom he constantly feuds. Cost is $18 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $10 for students

Holidays-Yardley

Yardley’s Olde Fashioned Christmas Parade
American Legion & Continental Tavern, Yardley
December 1st, 3:30 – 5:00pm

String Bands, George Washington, Belgian Horses, Sponge Bob, Batman and all their friends. Watch and listen to Pennsbury’s Marching Band as they escort the one and only Santa Claus! The parade will kick off at the American Legion at 3:30 sharp and proceed down Main Street to the Friends Meeting House on North Main Street. Don't forget to join Continental Tavern for face painting, shopping, and other fun activities. A portion of Continentals proceeds will go to support relief funds for local hurricane victims.

 

Doylestown Santa Paws
Pet Valu, 73 Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown
11:00am – 2:00pm

Bring your “fur children” for a picture with Santa! Get the professional snap shot of your dog or cat with Santa for only $10. Proceeds will benefit Bucks County Housing Group.

Newtown Arrival of Santa
Stocking Works Building, South State St, Newtown
2:00pm

The holiday parade is sponsored by the Newtown Business Association and will begin on South State St at the Stocking Works building. The parade will feature the local high school marching bands, a Mummers band, floats, antique cars, fire trucks, Santa, and more. The parade will be held rain or shine.

Annual Christmas Festival
Peddler’s Village, Route 202 & 263, Lahaska
10:00am – 6:00pm (also on December 1st, 10:00am – 6:00pm)

Santa arrives in a parade on Saturday to kick off weekend visits with the children through December 23rd. Hot mulled cider, toasted marshmallows are seasonal favorites. The Village is beautifully decorated, Victorian-style, with fruit wreaths and greenery. Live entertainment. Free admission.
