WOOHOO- it's the last weekend in February! While just the thought of spring is reason enough for me to celebrate, there are tons of other incentives to get out and enjoy this weekend in Bucks County. First, Earth Center Pottery in Richboro celebrates “Friends Night Out” for adults on Friday, February 25, from 7pm to 10pm.  The historic barn in Tyler State Park will host a night of fun, food and friends, exploring the sacred feminine art through slip decorations and carvings. On Saturday, February 26, Countdown to Ecstasy – a tribute to Steely Dan- returns to Triumph Brewery in New Hope from 9:30pm to 1am.  The 11-member group of veteran musicians, led by bassist Glenn Marrazzo, is dedicated to bringing alive the music of Fagen & Becker in it's truest form. Performing all of the many Steely Dan hits and deeper tracks, this Bucks County-based band delivers the Dan with the level of musicianship required to pay homage to the intricate but accessible tunes. The band bases their performances on both Steely Dan's studio and live arrangements.  Cover is $5.

The weekend is your last to catch The Odd Couple By Neil Simon at DCP Theater in Telford. Synopsis: Oscar is the professional “slob” while his buddy Felix proves that “cleanliness is next to insanity”. As Felix laments his impending divorce, Oscar tries to avoid his all together. Two good friends attempt to share an apartment and discover that their ideas of housekeeping and lifestyle are as different as night and day.  $12 – Groups of 6 – with reservation pay for 5 and Get 1/2 off the 6th ticket free. – Groups of 10 – with reservation pay for 9 and get the 10th ticket free.

Celebrate the Academy Awards at Marsha Brown with an elegant evening in their picturesque choir loft watching the Oscars live from Hollywood!On Sunday, February 27, 2011 Marsha Brown will host a black tie evening with the Academy Awards!  The party will start with Red Carpet coverage and continue until the credits roll.  The full Marsha Brown dinner menu will be available as well as scrumptious specials and Hollywood inspired wines.  The Hollywood themed evening will include contests, prizes and an Oscar pool. Reservations begin at 5:00 pm and continue until 9:00 pm.  Seating is flexible so that you may choose which part of the Awards show you want to watch.

Then, kick off March with free live music! On Tuesday, Sellersville Theater hosts a free Bluegrass Jam from 8pm to 10pm. Enjoy Live Bluegrass Jam led by Ed Lick of Blue Roots. Then on Wednesday, Sweet Lorraine's in Peddler's Village rocks out with Woody Poles.
