Eleven year old Chef DerekQ of Yardey is one of 16 contestants currently competing in MasterChef Junior on Fox, which airs Fridays at 8pm, for a grand prize of $100,000.
This food scientist may be young in his years, but he's refined in his cooking. On a recent episode, DerekQ earned rave reviews for his Dover sole over roasted fingerling potatoes and sunchokes with a smoked paprika aioli.
