First on Friday, October 14th, 2011, Spring Mill Country Club is hosting the  HealthLink Hole-in-One, a Mini-Golf Tournament followed by a the Cocktail Party! Prizes for every golfer, auction & raffles galore!

When you hear the word “orchestra”, I bet the sounds of the band featured in the video below don't come to mind! On Friday night, head to Puck to take in the ecclectic sounds of the West Philadelphia Orchestra, an ensemble made up of Philly’s finest and wildest musicians performing trumpets, saxophones, clarinet, drums, baritone horns, flute, vocals, and sousaphone. The West Philadelphia Orchestra will get you moving with the poignant melodies and the frenetic, propulsive rhythms of Eastern Europe.  Enjoy a unique mix of Balkan and klezmer sounds, the powerful rhythms of samba and dancehall, the growling energy of punk rock, the spontaneity of jazz, and, of course, the soul and grit of Philadelphia. $10 cover

Don't party too hard on Friday, though, because Saturday morning is the first ever Kisses for Kyle 5K Run/Walk & Family Day at Peddler's Village in Lahaska. First, join in the fun walk/stroll at 9:30 am. Every child participating in walk or run ages 14 and under will receive a Giggleberry AWESOME pass valued at $15!!!!  Watch free live family friendly performances by Tucker’s Tales Puppet Theater, Kids’ MusicRound and more! Children will enjoy pony rides by All Seasons Stables, face painting, and balloon art. The Saturday entertainment schedule includes: Sabo School of Irish Dance, Seas Dance Junction Dancers, and more!

In Newtown on Saturday, October 15 from 12:00pm to 3:00pm, head over to Newtown's 2nd Annual Community Wellness Day, hosted by Wellness Solution Centers.  CWD is a national event focusing on educating all the members of the community on very important information which is critical to the total wellness for all residents. Tune in for an array of information on health, safety, environmental and financial wellness. Admission to the event is free and will be held at Newtown Elementary School, 1 Wrights Road, Newtown

Calling all engaged couples! Get ready for your Happily Ever After, happening Saturday, October 15 from 4pm – 7pm in Yardley. Happily Ever After is an evening designed for couples in love. Couples who are newly engaged to those who are celebrating their sixtieth wedding anniversary may enjoy an evening of live music, gourmet food, cocktails, and more. Wedding and special events specialists will be at the event to share the latest trends in make-up and hair, floral designs, invitations, photography, videography, and live entertainment. Also, this weekend, check out the Bucks Fever FilmFest, an annual, juried festival with winning short films submitted by high school, college and emerging filmmakers which are screened at the County Theater in Doylestown, PA. On Sunday, October 16th from 4pm to 6pm, head to the Filmmaker Seminar in the Oscar Martin Room at the Doylestown Moose Lodge. The seminar will cover, history film fans: the most demanding audience, accuracy on the set, dialogue in history films and scripts, and what CGI can and cannot do to bring history to life.
