Better late than never! Back in August, a little visit from Hurricane Irene prevented the Glim Dropper Vinyl Release Show at Puck, presented by River Horse Brewing Company.  On Saturday, January 14th at 7pm, Puck hosts Dan Kauffman, Ben Geise, and Rob Schnell of Glim Dropper, a musical alliance that relies on sheer impact as much as melodic hooks while redifining what can be expected from a live trio. Formed in 2008 under a different moniker and having recently completed a 2-track single to be released exclusively on 7″ vinyl, the group finished up a full length release in the fall. Drawing on a wide scope of influences including the Police, Wayne Krantz, and Jeff Buckley, the band's intention is to innovate yet carry on the deep musical tradition that nurtured them.
