Kalen & The Sky Thieves

Kalen & The Sky Thieves are an eclectic group that mix electronic, dance, and funk. The quartet recently dropped their debut LP, Bluebird, and are playing a handful of shows this winter to promote the release. Don't miss them when they hit New Hope!

Scrooge

In 1970, renowned writer-composer-lyricist Leslie Bricusse adapted the classic Charles Dickens tale, A Christmas Carol, into the hit screen musical Scrooge! This sure-fire audience pleaser portrays the transformation of a bitterly unhappy miser, whose motto is Bah! Humbug, into a generous and loving soul – with the help of the spirits of Christmas Past, Present and Future and the beloved Tiny Tim.

Quakertown Holiday Tree Lighting Festival
Downtown, West Broad St, Quakertown
6:00pm

With an ice sculpting display, live alpacas, strolling Victorian carolers and Christmas and holiday vendors. It wouldn’t be festive without Santa’s appearance brought into town on a firetruck! Visit participating stores for complimentary hot cider, hot chocolate, and cookies

What Sweeter Music
Trinity Episcopal Church, 6587 Upper York Rd, Solebury

Cantus Novus, an auditioned chamber choir based in Bucks County, will be performing “What Sweeter Music,” a moving holiday program at several locations in early December. “What sweeter music” are words that especially resonate during the holiday season. They evoke feelings of warmth and delight, helping us to recall special times with family and friends.

Hot Chocolate & Cookies With Santa
Warwick Township Community Park, 1733 Township Greene, Jamison
11:00am – 1:00pm

Gather with your neighbors and join Santa for hot chocolate and cookies! You can warm up by the fire, sit on Santa’s lap for a photo, listen to music by the Jamison Elementary School Choir, or make your own craft and holiday card. Enjoy a performance by the Galena Brass Band. The Belgian horses and their carriage will also be back by popular demand!

Annual Christmas Festival
Peddler’s Village, Route 202 & 263, Lahaska
10:00am – 6:00pm

Santa arrives in a parade on Saturday to kick off weekend visits with the children through December 23rd. Hot mulled cider, toasted marshmallows are seasonal favorites. The Village is beautifully decorated, Victorian-style, with fruit wreaths and greenery. There will be live entertainment and admission is free.

Holiday Parade in Newtown
Stocking Works Building, South State St, Newtown
2:00PM

The holiday parade, sponsored by the Newtown Business Association, is a family tradition! The parade will feature the local high school marching bands, a Mummers band, floats, antique cars, fire trucks, Santa, and more. This year will also feature recognition for participants’ efforts in making the parade terrific. Float categories include best theme, best decorated, and most creative. .

Christmas at Aldie
Aldie Mansion, 85 Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown
5:00pm – 8:00pm

Kick off the holiday season with us at the Heritage Conservancy’s home in historic Aldie Mansion for a black tie optional event that includes cocktails, dinner, a live auction and festive entertainment! Proceeds benefit the ongoing upkeep and restoration of the mansion. Tickets are required and are $195 per person [non-members] and $175 per person [members].
