The Winter Festival of 2013 continues on! From a taste of Winter Fest at Lambertville Station to the Spectacular Parade, there is something for the whole family! We would recommend any of the indoor events with the cold-ish weekend.

Vagabond Opera
Sellersville Theatre, 24 W. Temple Ave, Sellersville

Bohemian gypsy rock ensemble Vagabond Opera plays a combination of cabaret, burlesque, tango, Balkan beats, Klezmer, Parisian hot jazz and opera that’ll leave your head spinning. They sing in 15 languages and mix their genre defying original tunes with covers made famous by the likes of Jacques Brel, Tom Waits and Edith Piaf – all performed with theatrics, absurdist flair and an old world mood. Vagabond Opera are regularly played on NPR and shared stages and players with Pink Martini, Devotchka, The Decembrists and the Oregon Symphony, proving their easy crossover appeal.

New Hope Poets Live!
Mother's Restaurant & Wine Bar, 34 North Main Street, New Hope
7:00pm – 9:30pm

New Hope Poets Live  will feature live, original poetry readings by area poets.  All writers are encouraged to participate and present their original work. The New Hope and Lambertville communities will come together at New Hope Poets Live to honor late author and poet John Hensel. All writers and listeners are welcome. A recommended voluntary donation of five dollars can be made upon admission to the event and attendees are also encouraged to bring a voluntary food donation for the Fisherman’s Mark food pantry.

WinterFest Spectacular Parade
New Hope-Solebury High

The WinterFest Spectacular Parade steps-off at noon from New Hope-Solebury High and marches over the bridge into Lambertville. Family fun continues at St. John’s with free music and theater performance for the kids from 10 am to 3 pm.

Mozart's Birthday Celebration
Trinity Episcopal Church, 6587 Upper York Road, New Hope
3:00pm – 5:00pm

Celebrate Mozart's work and birthday with the Dryden Ensemble. Tickets are available at the door or may be purchased online at the Dryden Ensemble website. Cost is $35 for adults, $30 for seniors, and $10 for students.
