Planning to have a nice dinner out for Valentine's Day? Here's a list of 2019 Happening List Winners & Finalists that are sure to have you and your special someone feeling the love.

Note that reservations will go quickly for Valentine's Day, so you'll want to call NOW if you're hoping to go out on February 14. The good news is that even if you can't get a reservation on the actual holiday, any of these places would make a great date night spot on any night you can get out!

Itri – 2019 Happening List Winner for Pizza

Known for its relaxed yet hip atmosphere, Itri is a great spot for Valentine’s Day dinner, drinks or happy hour. Itri offers a “2, 3, 4, 5” Happy Hour Menu from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with a drink and a snack for each price point. So if you can get there early on Valentine's Day, you can enjoy light bites and drinks such as $2 tater tots, $3 boneless wings, $4 house wine and $5 classic cheese pizza.

In addition, they will offer a prefixed menu on Valentine’s Day, and they have a number of specialty cocktails and chocolate cocktails throughout the month of February.

Steam Pub – 2019 Happening List Winner for Happy Hour, Finalist for Burger, Appetizer

Located in a former train station, Steam Pub is a perfect spot for a fun, casual Valentine’s Day date with elevated pub fare. For Valentine’s Day, they’ll offer the regular dinner menu plus Chef’s special additions. Tip: If you want to go over later, DJ Skipmode is there every Friday starting at 10 p.m. And on Saturday, February 15, Philly Heart and Soul will perform from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.

Annabella – 2019 Happening List Winner for Italian

This small and intimate BYOB in historic Bristol Borough is known for its incredible sauces, innovative specials, and entrees such as Rigatoni Roberto – Sauteed chicken, spicy sausage, roasted red peppers and broccoli rabe in a white wine, garlic and herb sauce. Be sure to save room for something sweet at the end as no visit is complete without their homemade tiramisu or gelato.

La Stalla – 2019 Happening List Finalist for Italian

On February 14, La Stalla will offer a special Valentine’s Day menu that you can enjoy along with love music. The same menu will also be offered (in addition to the regular menu) on Saturday and Sunday that weekend.

If you’d rather hold off on celebrating for a few weeks, La Stalla is hosting a Wine Dinner on Thursday, February 27 featuring five courses paired with exclusive Italian wines. There will be live music for the event.

Rocco’s at the Brick – 2019 Happening List Finalist for Steak

In conversations about best date night dinners, Rocco’s almost always comes up. The Newtown favorite will be serving its regular menu on Valentine’s Day, along with a variety of specials created by Chef Cole. Reservations are already filling up quickly, so you’ll want to call ASAP to see if you can get a table. But since they aren’t running a prefix menu, you really could just plan a visit to Rocco’s on another upcoming February night!

During Valentine’s Day Weekend, Bella Tori will offer a special 3-course menu on Friday and Saturday night. Prices vary depending on your entrée ranging from the $50 Butternut Squash Ravioli to the $74 filet mignon. Prices include an appetizer such as Maryland crab soup or flaky brie bites, and a dessert. Dessert options include old fashion apple crisp, dulce de leche cheesecake, chocolate fudge cake and crème brulee. There will also be live music both Friday and Saturday night.

Genevieve’s Kitchen – 2019 Happening List Winner for BYOB

Just a few days before Valentine’s Day, on February 11^th, Genevieve’s Kitchen is hosting a special “Love Wins” dinner date fundraiser. There will be two seatings, at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., for this 3-course gourmet dinner. All are welcome. Tickets are $55 per person with $20 per ticket going to support the 2020 Doylestown Pride festival.

Honey is a unique, romantic spot known for its menu of shared plates. For Valentine’s Day, they’re offering a shared tasting menu with a sampling of 10 dishes priced at $200 per couple. Look forward to Black Velvet Oysters , Wagyu Beef Tartare, Truffle & Smoke Potato Chips, Mushroom Soup,  Kale Salad, Lobster Rolls, Duck Samosas, Black Tea Glazed Spare Rubs and Brillat Savarin Cheese Toast. And since this Doylestown spot was a 2019 Happening List Finalist for Dessert, you know you better save room for that course!

Caleb’s American Kitchen – 2019 Happening List Finalist for BYOB & Steak

In honor of the holiday, Caleb's American Kitchen is offering a 4-course dinner on Friday, February 14 and Saturday, February 15. The prix-fixe menu is $68 per person and features dishes such as Crispy New England Lobster Roll or Beef Short Ribs with Crispy Shallots on Brioche, Creamy Chesnut Bique, Stuffed Whole Lobster or Sliced Filet, and more. The meal ends with a Valentine’s Sundae for Two. The BYOB also features a Hot Chocolate of the Month, and February’s is a hot chocolate with red velvet cake, strawberries and whipped cream.

Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm – 2019 Happening List Finalist for Most Romantic, Bed & Breakfast, BYOB

While Inn at Barley Sheaf Farm isn't offering a special menu for the holiday, their ever-changing everyday menu is pretty special in itself. With dishes made with fresh ingredients from many local Bucks County farms and a beautiful, cozy atmosphere, the restaurant was a finalist in several Happening List categories. In addition, it was named as one of the “Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America” by Open Table. If you'd like to make a night (or weekend) of it, this destination is also a Bed & Breakfast.

Bishop Estate Vineyard & Winery – 2019 Happening List Winner for Winery

Bishop Estate Vineyard & Winery is hosting a Valentine's Day Dinner on Friday, February 14 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Fry's Catering and Philly Waffle Cabin will be on-site offering a la carte dinner and dessert choices. The tasting room and bars will also be open. No reservations are needed, it's first come, first serve.
