Though the weather can't decide if it's summer or fall, we have gathered a great list of happenings to enjoy in a variety of climates. We picked a few inside and a few outside – who knows what mother nature will call for? In addition to this list, check out our Fall Guide and calendar for all the events happening throughout the season.

Cornerstone GO Party – On Friday, October 15th from 4-7pm enjoy a night full of fun and giveaways! Cornerstone is celebrating the opening of its newest location in the Health and Wellness Center in Warrington. Become a member with no enrollment fee and receive a free month of membership, book a spa appointment and get 20% off or register for personal training or a winter workshop and get 15% off! There will be food, drinks, prizes, games and a Wii competition. Its a great time to figure out your workout routine before the holiday pounds!

Night Chills – Scream your way through the Haunted Hayride and Corn Walk of Horror at Winding Brook Farm in Warrington. Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7:30-10pm. Attractions are $15 a piece or $25 together. Or if you don't like all the thrills you can opt for the Lil Peepers Hayride or corn maize during the day all October long. I recommend the “night chills,” its quite the adventure!

The 5th Annual Newtown Brewfest takes place Saturday from noon-5pm at The Newtown Swim Club.  This year, they'll be featuring breweries, local wineries, and several bands includings The Happy Endings, Steal Your Face, Rose Parade, Stolen Rhodes, John Sheridan, & 4 Star.

FORE!! If you plan on golfing in Quakertown on Saturday, keep your head up- literally! It's the 2010 Drop for Duchenne & Fall Festival. Numbered golf balls have been sold for $10.00 each. At 4:00pm all 2,000 balls will be lifted into the air and positioned over a hole in one and dropped. The first ball that lands in or closest to the hole wins first prize of $1,000.00. Should there be more than one ball that is closest to the hole the prize will be shared. Second prize will be $500.00, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh prizes will be $100.00 each.

Halloween Beef & Beer – Support the Nan Foundation on Saturday, October 16th at 7pm. Wear your costume early, support brain cancer, dance the night away, and win prizes! A silent auction will be held with prizes including Eagles tickets, a mountain vacation, an autographed picture of Hank Basket and much more. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. The event will be held at the Benjamin H Wilson Center in Warminster.

Harvest Day in Washington Crossing Park – On Sunday, October 17th from 11am-3pm go back in time by touring historical buildings while being guided by costumed re-enactors. You will get to look through the Thompson-Neely House and Bowman's Tower. Witness demonstrations of the skills of the colonial days. You will see the expertise of blacksmiths, bookbinders, chair-caners, basket-weavers and woodworkers.  There will be open-hearth cooking, apple cider pressing, spinning, weaving and mantua making. There will also be colonial games for children. Admission is only $9 for adults and $5 for seniors and children.

This Monday, October 18th, support team Dash for Danny at The Perk in Perkasie. Along with a half million other walkers from across the country, Karen will be taking part in the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International’s Walk to Cure Diabetes in Philadelphia on October 24th, as they try to reach their goal of raising $90 million.  Our friend, Karen Lavery of Bucks & Montgomery Living Magazine has enlisted 100 walkers to help her commemorate her son and to raise awareness for this very serious disease with team Dash for Danny.
