This weekends weather is calling for nothing but bright sunshine and mid-70's, which means it's perfect weather for fall activities. This week, we're focusing on outdoor happenings! Peddler's Village Scarecrow Festival – The scarecrow display runs until October 24th, but this weekend is full of even more fun including scarecrow workshops, pumpkin pie eating contests, and live entertainment! The festival runs September 18th & 19th from 10am-6pm with free admission and parking. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the shops in Peddler's Village while checking out all the scarecrows on display. You can also take part in the Bucks Happening online contest by voting for your favorite scarecrow!
State H.O.G Rally – Take part in the three day long Harley Owners Group Rally on September 16th, 17th & 18th. This is your chance to explore Bucks County while following an experienced road captain. The rally will allow you to see covered bridges, ringing rocks, flea markets, shopping tours, casino visits, castles and a 9/11 memorial. See the schedule for all the events happening over the three days. Registration will take place each day at the Sheraton Hotel in Langhorne. Ride during the day and socialize at night with dinners, musical entertainment, dancing and games!
The Village Renaissance Faire – Enjoy jousting, dance, juggling, crafts, carriage ride and games on September 18-19th from 11am-6pm. The Village Renaissance Faire is a recreation of a 12th through 16th century village named Penn’s Park. The Faire actually takes places on the Middletown Grange Fairgrounds, but is converted into a Renaissance Village. Admission is only $5 and children under eight are free!
Morrisville Concert Series, Irish Festival – The last concert in the series will feature the Irish band, “Na Bo' Dach.” On September 18th starting at 3pm, Williamson Park will transform into mini-Ireland with Irish dancers, food, children's activities and vendors selling Irish gifts. 28th Annual Vintage Auto Show – Spend the day admiring vintage cars, antiques, classics and street machines on September 18th from 9am-3pm at the Christian Life Center in Bensalem. The Vintage Auto Show is sponsored by The Lower Bucks Region AACA, a local chapter of the largest and oldest automotive historical society. The event is free and live entertainment will be performing throughout the day. Trophies will be given for top 40 cars, most original, best Ford, Mopar, GM, AMC, foreign, truck, hot rod, muscle car, orphan, and a special trophy for best of show.
