Annual Festival of Trees

It's that time of year again for the annual Festival of Trees. Each room in the historic Pearl Buck farm house features a tree that is decorated by local artisans, businesses and nonprofits who share their artistic expression of holiday joy.

Washington Crossing the Delaware – Reenactment
1112 River Rd, Washington Crossing

Each December, thousands gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of General George Washington’s daring Christmas Day river crossing. During this family-friendly event, several hundred reenactors in Continental military dress listen to an inspiring speech by Washington and then row across the river in replica Durham boats.

Blanket Statements: New and Historical Quilts from the Quilt Museum
James A. Michener Art Museum, 138 S Pine St, Doylestown

The Michener Art Museum is proud to be one of only two museums in the U.S. to host this stellar textile exhibition of 35 historical and contemporary quilts with trans-Atlantic ties. The exhibition features fifteen new quilts, designed by the American-born, internationally-known textile artist Kaffe Fassett, that were created in response to fifteen historical quilts, dating from 1780 to 1949,
