This weekend is full of great shows and entertainment! Since it is one of the last weekends in summer, why not spend it spend it in Bucks County? Skip the shore traffic and enjoy a great play or head to the fair for local homemade treats! Don't forget to check out our calendar for all the events happening around you.

Cabaret at the Bucks County Playhouse– From now through September 5th you can enjoy a great show at the Bucks County Playhouse! Shows run at 2pm, 4pm or 8pm depending on the day. You can buy tickets online for only $22, now that's a steal. The story takes place in a Berlin night club at the end of the 20's. Musical numbers include It Couldn't Please Me More, Willkommen, Cabaret, Don't Tell Mama and Two Ladies.

Saturday, check out the Revolutionary War Reenactment at Washington's Headquarters The Moland House  from 10am-4pm.  This event commemorates the 233rd anniversary of Washington's Continental Army pausing for thirteen anxious days in our small rural community.  General Washington was striving to determine the intentions for British General Howe's massive troop redeployment by ship from New York.  Also featured will be 18th Century music performed by Mark Carroll, Blacksmith Robert Herrmann, Cooper (barrel making) Justin Bergey & demonstrations of authentic 18th century crafts.

Hop aboard a great restaurant on wheels on the Evening Star Dinner Train! Sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful sights throughout Bucks County with a two-hour round trip train ride on Saturday, August 21st. Tickets include the ride plus a three course dinner and coffee service! You can choose to have a private table for two or join other passengers at a shared table. Tickets can be purchased online for any train ride. The train departs at 7:30pm and will arrive back by 9:30pm. There is even a cash bar aboard the train and professional pictures available.

This is the last weekend for Broadway Rocks from the Bristol Riverside Theater. Only a couple shows left, get your tickets before they sell out! Check out the video:

The Middletown Grange Fair runs now through Sunday, August 22nd with lots of delicious food, entertaining music, shows, amusement rides and exhibits. The fair takes place at Penns Park Road in Wrightstown to continue it’s support for Bucks County agriculture. You can find the entertainment schedule online to see all the events throughout the weekend!
