The ABC’s of Wellness

Looking for a way to increase your wellness? Bristol’s Dr. Charlie Flood suggests it’s an uncomplicated plan to wellness in his Healthy Living Series presentation, The ABC’s of Wellness. This program is offered by Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library in support of the PA Forward | Pennsylvania Libraries initiative. Libraries are key to powering progress and elevating the quality of life in PA by fueling the types of knowledge essential to success: Basic Literacy, Information Literacy, Civic and Social Literacy, Health Literacy, and Financial Literacy.

To Save Our Fellow Citizens: Volunteer Firefighting, 1800-1875
Mercer Museum, 84 S. Pine St, Doylestown
10:00am – 5:00pm

The Mercer Museum's engaging exhibition will include more than 175 historical firefighting artifacts including tools, colorful parade regalia, apparel, artwork, photographs, fire engines and fire equipment, and other unique items from the Museum's permanent collection. The all- ages exhibit will also feature hands-on activities for children.

Friday Night UnWined Concert Series

6:00PM – 9:00PM

Join in every Friday for wine tasting, live music & more! Sorry, no outside food or beverage. $5 admission includes wine tasting for adults and an activity wrist band for all. The event includes inflatable attractions, jumping pillows, Bears playground, Tryke track and the ALL NEW Lil' Bouncing Bronco's.

Run for the Woods
Woods Services, Martin Gross Drive, Langhorne

Run for the Woods 5K is an inspiring event that will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2015 in Langhorne Pennsylvania. It will benefit the more than 600 children and adults with special challenges that are served by Woods. The Run/Walk/Roll is open to all ages and athletic abilities including people with and without disabilities as they come together to raise funds for Woods. The local community, family and friends of Woods are invited to participate by running, walking, or rolling (strollers & wheelchairs welcome!) in this 5K. An onsite Fitness Fair featuring lots of vendors, demonstrations and give-a-ways will take place following the race!

The 5th Annual Tail-Waggers Strut 
Shady Brook Farm, 931 Stony Hill Road, Morrisville
9:00am – 4:00pm

The 5th Annual Tail-Waggers Strut is a Dog Walk and Festival to raise money for The Crossings Animal Sanctuary’s Building Fund, to build Bucks County’s first No-Kill Dog & Cat Sanctuary. There are two routes for the walk: 4-miles and 2-miles. In addition to the Walk, there will be a fun festival field full of events, kid’s activities, demonstrations, rescue groups and non-profits, vendors, competitions, and food. It is a chance for animal lovers to come together, raise funds for the future sanctuary, and spend a day having fun and celebrating our love of animals. Every step of the Tail-Waggers Strut brings us closer to the dream of a No-Kill Sanctuary for Dogs and Cats in Bucks County and the surrounding areas.

Strawberry Festival
Peddlers Village, Routes 202 & 263, Lahaska
10:00am

Juried Artisans show their wares and demonstrate their skills at the Street Road Green Artisan Area. Strawberries served up in various forms – dipped in chocolate, in assorted pastries and shortcake, jams, fritters and fresh and unadorned. Live entertainment and pie-eating contests add to the festivities of this traditional Spring celebration.
