Celebrate Art!

Across the United States, Youth Art Month is celebrated each year in March. Celebrate Art! goes one step further with an art exhibition by Bristol Borough public school students and the Artists of Bristol on the Delaware at the library. The exhibition launches with a two-hour opening reception with many of the participating artists on hand to discuss their creations.

The meeting of two of literature's most famous young ladies unfolds when a young man puts off a book report and finds himself in a strange place between Oz and Wonderland. As he tries to unscramble the stories, he has to avoid the Wicked Witch and the Red Queen. look for laughter and surprises at every turn!

A rich and corrupt junk dealer, Harry Brock, brings his showgirl mistress Billie with him to Washington, DC. When Billie's ignorance becomes a liability to his business dealings, he hires a journalist to educate her. In the process of learning, Billie realizes how corrupt Harry is and begins to interfere with his plans to bribe a Congressman in this hilarious classic comedy. Tickets are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors, and $10 for students.

2nd Annual Cupcake Decorating Contest
Giggleberry Fair, Peddler's Village, Lahaska

For those with an appreciation for decorated sweets, the Cupcake Decorating Contest displays are up! Check out what competitors entered in this year's sweet tooth competition.

An Evening of Irish Folk Music & Dance
Yardley Community Centre, 64 S. Main St, Yardley
7:30pm

With St. Patrick's Day coming, the Bucks County Performing Arts Centre is proud to present an evening of Irish folk music and dance with Gerry Timlin. Tickets are $18 for adults, $15 for seniors, and $10 for students. Tickets can be purchased online (through BCPAC website) or at the Yardley Community Centre prior to the event.

Charter Day
Pennsbury Manor, 200 Pennsbury Memorial Rd, Morrisville
1:00pm – 4:00pm

Come join Pennsbury Manor in celebrating the birthday of Pennsylvania! They will be demonstrating plantation crafts and offering tours of the Manor House. Lend a helping hand by donating a non-perishable food item for the Charter Day food drive.

St. Pat’s 5K Warminster
Warminster Community Park, Veterans Dr, Warminster
March 10th, 10:00am

Run, share a story, and a beer with author,  USAT and Ironman Hall of Famer, two time Ironman Triathlon World Champion, Scott Tinley. Flat fast out and back, spectator friendly course on the grounds of the former Johnsville Naval Air Station. First round of Guinness at Tony’s Place after the race. Last day of registration is March 8th. Registration is $30 per participant.
