Too Clever by Half

East Coast Derby Extravaganza

Check out the “World's Fastest-Growing Women's Sport” is the focus of the Philly Roller Girls' 8th Annual East Coast Derby Extravaganza. ECDX'14 will showcase over 1000 skaters from 40 flat track roller derby leagues worldwide. Friday night only tickets are $22.60.

Summer Solstice Stroll for Kids' Sake
Warminster Community Park, 300 Veterans Way, Warminster
5:30pm – 8:30pm

Big Brothers Big Sister of Bucks County are hosting a family-friendly event to kick off the beginning of summer! The event will help promote healthy eating, healthy habits, and a healthy lifestyle while strolling through the park. There will also be food, shopping vendors, music, and raffles. Cost is $15 per person and those that preregister will receive an event shirt.

Summer Solstice Weekend – American Roots Music Festival
Snipes Farm, 890 W. Bridge St, Morrisville
4:00pm – 8:00pm

Take in an evening of American roots music, wine, and food with family and friends. The evening will feature Unit 1 (Jazz Giants: Mark Egan, Karl Latham, John Hart), A.J. Slick, and Pennington Station. Local wine and food will be available from Crossing Vineyards and Comfortfood. Tickets are $30 for adults and $12 for children (18 & under) in advance. At the door, tickets are $35 for adults and $15 for children.

Delaware Canal Festival
Throughout New Hope
8:00am – 4:00pm

The annual Delaware Canal Festival returns with plenty to do for the whole family. Events include a 5k run/walk, a town and towpath guided tour, decorated boat floats, and decorated duck making. A string band concert will be held at the New Hope Arts Center to benefit the New Hope-Solebury Library. Cost to enter the concert is $15 in advance or $20 cash at the door.
