Be Kind to Bats & Other Nocturnal Creatures Aldie Mansion, 85 Old Dublin Pike, Doylestown 6:00pm – 8:00pm What better time to spotlight our nocturnal friends than the night before Halloween? Come in costume to Aldie Mansion, and learn about bats and creatures of the night from Sandy Yerger, Associate Director of Development, and AARK. Costume contest and trick-or-treating throughout the mansion will make this the ultimate celebration. $10 for Heritage Conservancy members (price for a family, up to 5 people); $20 for non-members (family price also). The Rocky Horror Show Bucks County Playhouse, 70 S. Main St, New Hope 7:30pm Richard O’Brien’s The Rocky Horror Show, a musical that inspired the 1975 classic cult film, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, follows innocent couple Brad and Janet as they seek shelter at a mysterious old castle on a dark and stormy night, where they encounter transvestite Dr. Frank N Furter, his “perfect” creation Rocky, and an assortment of other crazy creatures.

Beer Tasting: Pumpkin Brews Washington House, 136 N. Main St, Sellersville 5:00pm Back by popular demand, it’s a Halloween event for adults! Taste an assortment of this year’s best pumpkin beers.

Equivocation The Heritage Center, Theatre, 635 N Delmorr Ave, Morrisville 8:00pm Shakespeare receives a royal commission to write a play about Guy Fawkes' Gunpowder Plot. He and his company must find a way to keep their integrity…and also keep their heads. Tickets are $20 for adults, $17 for seniors, $15 for WHYY members. This show is not recommended for children due to adult language and simulated violence.

Apple Festival Peddler's Village, Lahaska 10:00am – 6:00pm Celebrate fall and the local apple harvest all weekend with farm fresh, local apples and a wide variety of apple baked goods and Scrumptious apple treats including country apple butter, apple cider, apple zeppoles, apple fritters and everyone’s favorite — apples dipped in caramel! Take home a bushel fresh from the orchard. Juried Artisans sell their wares and demonstrate their skills at the Street Road Green Artisan Area. Live entertainment and apple pie-eating contests add to the festivities of this traditional autumn celebration. Admission is free.

49th Annual Holly Nook Bazaar Morrisville United Methodist Church, 501 W. Maple Ave, Morrsville 9:00am – 2:00pm The Holly Nook Bazaar will contain many crafty items related to tree ornaments, designer bags, scarves, hand knit gloves, American Girl clothes, woven rag rugs, ceramics, and our always popular bake sale table, complete with homemade dog treats.The kitchen will be busy with fresh hot coffee, tea breakfast treats and their famous hot dogs. So come and have a breakfast or lunch and shop where all proceeds go to mission projects.

JDRF One Walk  Bucks County Community College, 275 Swamp Rd, Newtown 8:30am JDRF One WalkTM in Newtown, PA is organized by JDRF’s Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter. Participants will walk 5K to raise money for critical type 1 diabetes (T1D) research.

Johnny Peers & Muttville Comix Sellersville Theater, 24 W. Temple Ave, Sellersville 4:00pm – 9:00pm Johnny, his personality and his canines are coming to tickle your funny bone as these Animal Planet Pet Star Winners perform challenging and hilarious tricks. Entertaining for the whole family and the dog lover in all of us, the show stars some dogs rescued from shelters or pounds like Noodles, the world’s only skateboarding basset hound; Squeaky the ladder climbing fox terrier; Chico who only responds to commands in Spanish and Sir Winston the pointer mix who only answers to “Sir.”
