Pearl S. Buck's 122nd Birthday
Pearl S. Buck House, 520 Dublin Rd, Perkasie
1:00pm – 3:00pm

Pearl S. Buck International invites the community to a birthday celebration in honor of Pearl S Buck's 122nd. Guests are invited to share in Ms. Buck's favorite coconut birthday cake and lemonade in the Cultural Center at the national historic landmark. The celebration also heralds in the wedding season with a presentation on Chinese Wedding Customs. Stephanie Seidner, president of SLS Productions, shares her experiences witnessing a traditional Chinese wedding and imparts information on the nuptial customs in China with a slide show of family photographs.

Concerts in the Park
Bucks County Court House Lawn, 55 Court St, Doylestown
7:00pm

Enjoy an evening presented by the Doylestown Lions Club as they kick off the Concerts in the Park. The evening will feature the Quakertown Community Band. While the event is free, donations will be accepted.

Summer Wine & Music Series

Bring your lawn chair and enjoy an evening with Crossing Vineyards & Winery and The Borderline Bluegrass Band! Wine and cheese will be available for purchase. Tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door.

It's 1980 and the magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California. She goes on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, as he strives to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time. Tickets are $10.

The Girls of Garden Club
Town and Country Players, 4158 York Rd, Furlong

For Rhoda Greenleaf, gardening is everything and the presidency of the local garden club is her highest goal. But standing in her way is the incumbent Lillybelle, who peppers her speech with French phrases and is a general pain in the neck. How to oust Lillybelle and install herself as president becomes Rhoda's obsession. With help from the “girls” in the Garden Club, Rhoda sets out to achieve her quest, with hilarious results. Tickets are $15 per person.

Inspiration awaits you! Here's your chance to visit private, beautiful gardens that are normally closed to the public. Admission is $5 per garden. Children 12 and under are free. No reservations required and it is a rain or shine event.

Langhorne Speedway
Mercer Museum, 84 S. Pine St, Doylestown

Join Joe Blinebury, a collaborator on the comprehensive history of the Speedway, for a look at the famed track's history, and some of the vehicles and legendary drivers who raced there. After the lecture, visit the Mercer's new exhibit, “America's Road: The Journey of Route 66.” Both the lecture and exhibit are included with museum admission.

St Michael's Fair
66 Levittown Pkwy, Levittown
6:00pm – 11:00pm

Join in the oldest and largest Fair and Carnival in the Lower Bucks County area. This family oriented fair has been putting smiles on faces of our youth and those young at heart since 1954. Proceeds benefit the parish school. All attendees can expect rides, games, and food to enjoy with the whole family.
