Honor & Remembrance Ceremony
Garden of Reflection, 1950 Woodside Rd, Yardley
8:30am – 10:30am

This morning ceremony marks the chronological events with the tolling of bells and will be interspersed with music, poems and words from various guests. A flower will be placed recognizing the 18 Bucks County Residents who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.

Remembrance in Light Candlelight Ceremony
Garden of Reflection, 1950 Woodside Rd, Yardley
7:00pm – 8:00pm

The Ceremony will commemorate the 2,973 people who died in the 9-11 terrorist attacks and this year we will celebrate the heroics of the First Responders. Arnie Roma will be the keynote speaker at the Remembrance in Light Ceremony. Arnie is a retired NYPD Officer and now a local volunteer firefighter, who was trapped in the collapse of the South Tower and survived. Keith Roma, son of Arnie and Rosemary Roma, died while conducting rescue operations in the North Tower with the New York Fire Patrol.

Unnecessary Farce

Two cops & three crooks &eight doors & go! In a cheap motel room, an embezzling mayor is supposed to meet with his female accountant, while in the room next door, two undercover cops wait to catch the meeting on videotape. But there's some confusion as to who's in which room, who's being videotaped, who's taken the money, who's hired a hit man, and why the accountant keeps taking off her clothes.

Travis Manion Foundaton's 9/11 Heroes Run
Russel Elliott Memorial Field, 150 Buck Rd, Southampton
7:00am registration, 9:00am race start

The 5K/1 Mile Fun Walk winds through neighborhood streets and is for runners and walkers of all ages. Funds raised from this event will help the LSVAC expand their outreach to provide info on various benefits available to veterans, active duty and their families, as well as other events and activities. Register online at www.911heroesrun.org, then select “Feasterville” in Location box, or at 7AM on race day.

Doylestown Arts Festival
East State St & Main St, Doylestown
10:00am – 5:00pm

The Doylestown Arts Festival is a juried festival of a variety of artisans offering the best of the area’s culture. This two-day festival is the largest event of the year in the heart of beautiful Doylestown Borough in Bucks County. This annual festival has grown to include more than 150 exhibitors and a food court. Diverse entertainment is presented at numerous locations throughout the downtown area. Live music features solo acts as well as rock, pop, folk, big band and music just for kids. Admission is free.

7th Annual Car Show & Family Fun Day
LFC2 Station 13, 6 County Way, Levittown
10:00am – 4:00pm

The Levittown Fire Company No. 2 7th Annual Car Show & Family Fun Day. Keep an eye out for more information! Registration is $15, day of show only. All makes and models of cars/trucks welcome. Grass and pavement parking will be available. Vendor spaces will also be available. Email us at LFC2CarShow@aol.com for consideration This is operated on a first come, first serve basis.

Newtown Chamber Orchestra Concert Series
Washington Crossing Historic Park, 1112 River Rd, Washington Crossing
2:00pm – 4:00pm

The Newtown Chamber Orchestra will kick off a new Sunday afternoon concert series in Washington Crossing Historic Park. The orchestra will perform in the park’s Visitor Center auditorium. Tickets range from $25 to $45 and are available at the Visitor Center, located near the intersection of River Road and Rt. 532. The first concert will feature 18th century chamber music. Concerts will be held monthly and feature different musical groups.
