4th Annual Newtown Irish Festival

Join in Bucks Countys Biggest Irish Festival! The celebration kicks-off Friday afternoon under the Green Parrot Festival Tent on Silo Drive with legendary Irish rockers Clancys Pistol. The Festival will feature Irish step-dancing and traditional Irish Food including Corned Beef & Cabbage and Shepherds Pie. Live Irish Music performances both under the Festival Tent and inside the Restaurant & Pub will include Ray Coleman, Tommy McHugh, Chris Huff, Dirty Whiskey Duo and headline acts such as The Naturals, Galway Guild and Modern Bliss. DJ Irish Johnny Bones will be spinning your favorite hits late night in the Pub. there is $5.00 cover charge at the door.

John McEuen in a One Man Show
McCoole's Arts & Events Place, 10 S. Main St, Quakertown

Parlor Concerts, LLC is bringing the legendary John McEuen to McCooles Arts & Events Place. St. Lukes University Health Network will sponsor this multiple-instrumentalist, with a history that weaves through Country, Rock, Jazz and Folk. McEuen will offer music and stories from a career that has made him an indelible figure in American music in an intimate 187 seat venue. John McEuens career includes 40 albums and 25 guest appearances on others records, more than 8,500 live performances, and over three hundred television appearances. He has earned four Grammys, four Platinum Albums and four Gold Albums to highlight a career of achievements that, when completely listed, could take hours to recite. Tickets are $32 to $37 per person.

Free Yoga Class for Veterans with Combat Related Trauma
The Solebury Club, 4612 Hughesian Dr, Buckingham
11:30am – 12:30pm

Free Yoga and Meditation classes are led by trauma-sensitive trained yoga instructors and are specifically designed to help veterans release held tension, reduce stress and anxiety, and ease feelings of helplessness, fear and detachment. The foundation provides free of charge, the instructors, manuals and yoga mats. Pre-registration is required.
