Mothers and Sons
Bucks County Playhouse, 70 S. Main St, New Hope

This world premiere by four time Tony Award®- winning playwright Terrence McNally, starring Tony and Emmy® Award-winner Tyne Daly, is the story of the mother of a young man who died from AIDS and his partner at the time of her son’s death. In the many years since they last met, both their lives have changed — more than either of them could have possibly imagined. This new play asks us to consider how far we have come as a society in need of healing and how far we still have to go.

Doylestown heat and Annual Ice Cream Social
Hansell Park, Rt 413 & Hansell Rd, Buckingham
7:00pm – 9:00pm

This 10+ piece band will start the concert series with music from the 20's and 30's as well as some great jazz. Ice cream will be served at 7:00pm. Make sure to bring a chair or blanket! Should there be rain, Buckingham Spring Club House (also on Rt 413) will be the alternative venue.

Firefly Frolic

Learn about the habits and habitats of our local light emitting insects! Join in on a short hike to search for these lightning bugs as well as activities for the family. Perfect summer fun for the whole family! While there is no fee, pre-registration is required.

Enjoy a summer evening festival with the McCloskey Family Trio in concert, a decorated duck contest , in-water paddleboard yoga demonstrations, an illuminated wish boat float, food, and community groups!

The LBBA Classic Car Show is back in town! Anyone wishing to register his/her car, registration will be $20 at the gate. All makes and models are welcome! Along with the cars, enjoy a live Rock-a-Billy band or the DJ playing music from the 50's through the 80's.

Butterfly Festival

Learn everything you wanted to know about butterflies from the entertaining expert, Rick Mikula. The $3 charge covers inflatable attractions & wagon rides. Attendees can also enjoy crafts and live butterfly release (for an extra fee).
