It’s another Dickens of a murder! Despite hosting a murderous holiday party last year, which resulted in the murders of Ebenezer Scrooge and Tiny Tim, the Sawyers are going to give it another try. They have invited all of their closest friends for their annual holiday party – and are hoping for no mishaps this year. But when an uninvited guest shows up, someone is bound to exclaim, “What the deadly Dickens?” Get tickets here.

25th Annual Holiday Light Show at Shady Brook Farm

When: Now through January 5
Where: 931 Stony Hill Road, Yardley

It's the final weekend to take a 20-minute drive through over 3 million lights!

Family Fun Friday at Neshaminy Mall

When: Friday, January 3 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 707 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem

Mommy's Lil' Black Book hosts Family Fun Night on the first Friday of the month from January through April at Neshaminy Mall. January's theme is Circus Night! There will be moon bounces, balloon art, face painting, costume characters, vendors and more. Go to the Barnes & Noble Court at 6:30 p.m. for a free juggling and magic show by Bad Idea Entertainment.

Bake in the New Year at Silly Spoons

When: Saturday, January 4 from noon to 2 p.m.
Where: 408 South State Street, Newtown

Start off the New Year with some baking fun! This is a drop-off class for children ages through 5 through 12. $25 per child. Register here.

Silver Lake Nature Center Volunteer Work Day

When: Saturday, January 4 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: 1306 Bath Road, Bristol

Start the New Year with volunteer work in the community! Silver Lake Nature Center is hosting Volunteer Work Days on the first Saturday of the month to help maintain the Center’s grounds. Be prepared to get wet and dirty. Bring a refillable water bottle. Lunch will be provided. Register by calling 215-785-1177.

Nature Center Adventures at Churchville Nature Center

When: Saturday, January 4 from 10 a.m. to noon
Where: 501 Churchville Lane, Churchville

Join longtime educator Irene for a series of adventures here at Churchville Nature Center! Each session includes meeting one of our live critters, a trail adventure (weather permitting), games, stories, a craft to take home with you and other fun activities. Older siblings and accompanying adults are welcome to join in. These events are geared for children ages 5 through 8. They cost $15 per session of $55 for all 5 sessions. Beer and Yoga

Get your Sunday Funday started with a 45-minute, all-levels yoga session lead by Beth Howard of Younger Thru Yoga+, LLC. After yoga, enjoy a private beer tasting (pick your own flight of 4 beers). BYO yoga mat, and wear comfortable clothes. Must be 21 to participate. Make your reservation by Saturday. Tickets are $25.
