The Lion King Jr. at Bristol Riverside Theatre

When: Friday, July 26 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Saturday, July 27 at 11 a.m.
Where: 120 Radcliffe Street, Bristol

Your kids love watching The Lion King at home, maybe they’ve seen the new live action film in the movie theater, but have they seen it live on stage? Bring them to the Riverside Theatre for a kid-friendly intro to theater.

Puerto Rican Day Festival

When: Saturday, July 27 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 100 Basin Park, Bristol

Celebrate Puerto Rican culture with dancers, musicians, local talent, food and more.

Wine on the Waterfront

When: Saturday, July 27 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Washington Crossing Historic Park, 1112 River Road, Washington Crossing

Enjoy an afternoon of live jazz music, food and 1-ounce tastings of more than 40 varieties of wine from a dozen Pennsylvania wineries. This year, the event will feature more than double the number of wineries, while the available tickets have been lowered to improve guest experience. Bring your own blanket or chairs if you want to relax along the riverbank. Purchase tickets here.

Movies Under the Stars: The Little Mermaid

When: Saturday, July 27 from 7 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Where: 1661 Edgewood Road, Yardley

Enjoy the classic animated tale under the stars. Ariel will be stopping by for a Meet & Greet with the kids, followed by a showing of The Little Mermaid. Free admission. Concessions are available on a donation basis. Bring lawn chairs and blankets.

Goat Yoga with Mountain Pride Farm

When: Sunday, July 28 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: 869 Woodbine Lane, Quakertown

Practice yoga or just snuggle with the goats and baby goats. This class is for all ages, no experience needed. Register in advance here. Class is $35.

Family Bug Safari at Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve

When: Sunday, July 28 from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: 1635 River Road, New Hope

Go on a quest to find bugs! Naturalist Pam Newitt will lead this hands-on educational program about insects. As part of the program fee, you will receive a bug box to keep the bugs you find. This program is suggested for ages 5 and up. Cost is $5 child/$7 adults for Members and $7 child/$9 adults for Non-Members. Purchase tickets here.
