Bucks Happening’s Weekend Picks: July 31 – August 2

Christmas in July (last chance!), outdoor shopping events, music, free movies … these are just some of the fun things to do in Bucks County this weekend. (Of course, we encourage you to make decisions that fit your family's situation and follow safety guidelines.)

Shop the Bristol Outdoor Flea Market

When: Friday, July 31 – Sunday, August 2 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: 100 Commerce Circle, Bristol

Vendors will be selling antique furniture, collectibles, vintage jewelry and clothing, artwork, pottery, and more. Wear a mask. Hand sanitizer will be available. Free parking, free admission.

Celebrate Christmas in July with Tapas on York

When: Friday, July 31 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 2244 York Road, Jamison

Sip, shop & nibble … social distance style! This outdoor event will feature an eclectic menu from Tapas on York, drinks from Moss Mill Brewing Company and sweets from Guys Fudge. There will also be small business vendors for shopping and live music from Brian Nolan, better known as Acoustic Rat.

Go Out on a Date Night … in the Air!

When: Friday, July 31 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Hellerick's Family Farm, 5500 N. Easton Road, Doylestown

After being stuck inside the house together for months, treat yourselves to a totally unique date night! Hellerick's Family Farm is offering Date Night specials for their Aerial Adventure Park every other Friday night. Enjoy 1.5 hours of zip lines, climbing, free fall leap, etc. The event is for couples only and features reduced pricing of $30 per person. Book your reservation HERE.

Watch a Free Movie (Shrek) in the Park

When: Friday, July 31 at 8:45 p.m.
Where: Tamanend Park, 1255 2nd Street Pike, Southampton

Bring your family, blankets or chairs, and enjoy watching Shrek on the 24-foot movie screen. This event is free! Order delivery from Southampton Pizza while you're there, and they'll take 10% off your order.
