Godspell Jr. by Acting Naturally

When: Friday, March 29 at 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 30 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Where: Acting Naturally Theatre, Inc., 164 N. Flowers Mill, Langhorne

This kid-friendly show is based on the original Godspell from three-time Grammy and Academy Award-winner, Stephen Schwartz (Wicked) that took the world by storm.  Boasting a score with chart-topping songs, Godspell JR. is a sensation that continues to touch audiences. An eclectic blend of songs, ranging in style from pop to vaudeville, is employed as the story of Jesus’ life dances across the stage. Tickets start at $10 and can be purchased here.

Designer Bag Bingo Fundraiser for Penndel Mental Health Center

When: Friday, March 29 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: William Penn Fire House, 123 Main Street, Hulmeville

Have some fun and try to win prizes … all for a good cause! Tickets are $30. Admission includes 12 designer bag bingo games and a door prize ticket. There will be 3 additional cash games, sold separately.  In addition to door prizes, there will be a 50/50 drawing, raffle baskets and a Wheelbarrow of Cheer. Easter Bunny Pictures at Milford Township Volunteer Fire Station

When: Saturday, March 30 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: 2185 Milford Square Pike, Quakertown

Bring your family, friends, and leashed pets to get photos with the Easter Bunny! A professional photographer will be on site to take your photo and print it. (Prices start at $7 for one print.)  While you wait, check out Quakertown Veterinary Clinic for information on what services they offer and browse the Raffle Baskets and Bake Sale as well. It is also a perfect time to meet some of your local heroes. In addition, the fire station is holding a food drive for Helping Hands Mobile. Donate three non-perishable items and receive one free raffle ticket for the baskets. This event is cash only.

Yoga with Adoptable Dogs

When: Saturday, March 30 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Where: Women’s Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem

Practice your down dog with a shelter pup!  Join instructor and WAC volunteer, Energy Healing with Caitlyn, for a gentle Hatha flow (beginners encouraged). While you move through your poses, there will be adoptable dogs for you to meet. You might even get your face licked during our floor set of poses!

Tickets are $20 per person. Refreshments and time to visit with adoptable animals included! All proceeds go directly towards caring and rehoming homeless animals. Tickets must be purchased in advance.

Advanced Birding Workshop

When: Saturday, March 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Bucks County Audubon Society, 2877 Creamery Road, New Hope

If you’ve previously taken a birding class or you’re already an avid birder, you’ll want to take this class presented by the Bucks County Audubon Society. Learn some tips for difficult identifications (like sparrows!), raptor identification and using bird calls and songs. The class is $5 for Members and $10 for Non-Members. Register here.
