Irish Music at The Dubliner on the Delaware

When: Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Where: 34 N. Main Street, New Hope

Get a head start on your St. Patrick’s Day celebrating! This Irish pub, restaurant and music venue is hosting Seamus Kelleher on Friday night and Killen & Clark on Saturday night.

Kids’ Night Out at Doylestown Rock Gym

When: Friday, March 8 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: 3853 Old Easton Road, Doylestown

Let the kids have their fun, while you have yours! Children ages 5 through 12 can enjoy a night of climbing and adventure-based activities. Cost is $35 per child ($20 for DRG Members), $15 for siblings. Includes pizza and all equipment. Register here.

Belle at the Bookshop

When: Saturday, March 9 at 10:30 a.m.

Where: The Doylestown Bookshop, 16 S. Main Street, Doylestown

Come out to meet Belle in her favorite place, the Doylestown Bookshop!  The students of the CB West Production of Beauty and the Beast will be visiting the bookshop for a meet and greet and a short performance from the show.  Kids will also be able to browse a selection of Beauty and the Beast books as well as some of Belle's favorite children's books.

The students will be giving (three) five-minute performances every twenty minutes at 10:30, 10:50, and 11:10 a.m. Each performance will be followed by a photo op.

“The Amazing Max” Magic & Comedy Show at Bucks County Community College

When: Saturday, March 9 at 3:30 p.m.

Where: BCCC Newtown Campus, The Zlock Performing Arts Center, 275 Swamp Road, Newtown

Bucks Live! Presents “The Amazing Max,” a high-energy magic show starting Max Darwin. Darwin combines magic and comedy, making this interactive and all-around silly show appropriate for all ages. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children, students and seniors. They can be purchased online or at the door.

Charter Day: Open House at Pennsbury Manor

When: Sunday, March 10 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road, Morrisville

Celebrate Pennsylvania’s birthday at this free event! Spend the afternoon with William Penn and the people of Penn’s time. Enjoy the sights and sounds of 17th-century daily life. Colonial craftspeople, dressed in period clothing, will be demonstrating blacksmithing, joinery, and beer brewing. The cooks will offer a wonderful display of 17th-century foods, while explaining the process of open hearth cooking. Take a tour of the Manor House with costumed interpreters and stop and see the role-players reenact “Voyage of the Welcome,” the voyage of 1682 when William Penn and other prospective colonists traveled to Pennsylvania on a ship called The Welcome.

While the event is free, Pennsbury Manor will be accepting non-perishable food items to benefit the Bucks County Housing Group’s Penndel Food Pantry. Bring a food item and receive a 10% discount in the Museum Store.

Bucks County Wedding Show

When: Sunday, March 10 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Delaware Valley Universtiry, Student Center, 700 E. Butler Avenue, Doylestown

This one-of-a-kind wedding showcase presented by Visit Bucks County highlights the area’s finest venues. Meet with professional exhibitors, and enjoy food and beverage samplings and DIY sessions by local experts. There will be live entertainment, a fashion show, door prize giveaways and more!
