There’s always something fun to do in Bucks County, but we’re making things easy for you by highlighting a few favorites each week. Here are our picks for October 19 through October 21. And remember, you can always find more things to do by checking our Fall and Halloween Guides.

NAC Halloween Movie Series: Hotel Transylvania

When: Friday, October 19 at 8 p.m.

Where: Newtown Athletic Club, 120 Pheasant Run, Newtown, PA 18940

The NAC is hosting a 4-week Halloween movie series at their 4-acre pool complex, Escape Resort. This Friday night, Hotel Transylvania will play on their massive 25-foot mega screen. Free popcorn will be provided, and the resort’s full restaurant, bar and hot tub will be open. The event series is open to the community with tickets costing $10 per person or $30 for a party of four.

Historic Bristol Day

When: Saturday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Where: Bristol Lions Park, Radcliffe Street, Bristol

The Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation presents the 42nd Annual Historic Bristol Day with fun for the entire family. The highlight of the day is the return of the Tall Ship Gazela with free access for tours. Do a little shopping at the vendor and craft tables. View work by local artists at the exhibit in the Community Baptist Church on Radcliffe Street. Enjoy the live music and other entertainment. If you’re interested in the history of the homes in Bristol Borough, you can purchase tickets for house tours. And kids will love the face painting, balloon artist and “Children’s Corner” at the Grundy Library. In conjunction with Historic Bristol Day, there will be a Bristol Day Car Show at Snyder-Girotti Elementary/Middle School on Beaver Street. There will be shuttle buses running from the car show to other Bristol Day events.

Autumn Alive!

When: Saturday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  (Rain date October 27)

Where: 312 Broad St., Quakertown

The 18th Annual Autumn Alive! celebration is a day of outdoor fun in Quakertown for the family. Children’s activities and crafts, farm-fresh produce, demonstrations, native plant sale, flea market, informational booths from local groups, merchant specials, live music and more. Don’t forget to bring your furry friends for the pet parade.

Oktoberbest at Snipes Farm & Education Center

When: Saturday, October 20 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Snipes Farm, 890 W. Bridge Street, Morrisville

It’s a day of fall fun at Snipes Farm! There will be hayrides to the pumpkin field, a corn maze, vendors, live entertainment and more. Get a bite to eat from the food trucks and enjoy a drink in the beer & wine garden. Have the kids come in costume for trunk-or-treating from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Admission is $6 per person for ages 3 and up. Tickets for the inflatables are sold separately with an unlimited wristband costing $5.
