With so many events happening this weekend, it was hard to narrow down our list. But here are the top things to do in Bucks County from October 26 through October 28. And because it's the last weekend before Halloween, be sure to check our Halloween and Fall Guides.

NAC Halloween Movie Series: The Nightmare Before Christmas

When: Friday, October 19 at 8 p.m.

Where: Newtown Athletic Club, 120 Pheasant Run, Newtown, PA 18940

The NAC is hosting a 4-week Halloween movie series at their 4-acre pool complex, Escape Resort. This Friday night, The Nightmare Before Christmas will play on their massive 25-foot mega screen. Free popcorn will be provided, and the resort’s full restaurant, bar and hot tub will be open. The event series is open to the community with tickets costing $10 per person or $30 for a party of four. NAC Members get in free.

Peddler’s Village Halloween Spooktacular

When: Friday, October 26 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Peddler’s Village, Routes 202 & 263, Lahaska, PA 18931

Kids should come dressed in their Halloween costumes to trick-or-treat at the Village shops. At 6 p.m., there will be a family-oriented guided ghost walk tour. Bring a flashlight! After the walk, there will be a creature craft activity. Enjoy free snacks throughout the evening on the Main Green.

Olde Langhorne Harvest Day

When: Saturday, October 27 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

UPDATE: This event has been moved to Sunday, October 28 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: 102 W. Maple Avenue, Langhorne

This favorite community event is celebrating its 13th year. Enjoy a day of live music, children’s activities, a moonbounce, craft vendors and more. There will be a costume parade with prizes at 12:30 p.m.

Newtown Borough Halloween Parade

When: Saturday, October 27 at 10 a.m.

Where: Due to the weather forecast, the parade has been moved indoors at the Newtown Theater, 120 N. State Street

In addition to the parade, you can participate in the costume and pumpkin decorating contests. Judging for both competitions is before the parade begins. See the site for more details.

Canal-o-ween

When: Oct. 28 to Nov. 3

Where: Delaware Canal, N. Edgewater Ave, Yardley

A week-long tradition that will kick off with the 10th annual Carve-O-Thon on Sunday, October 28 from 12 to 3. Guests are invited to help carve over 300 pumpkins to create the Jack-O-Lantern Stroll that will debut that night.

Boo at Bolton: Food Truck Fest and Trunk or Treat

When: Sunday, October 28 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: 85 Holly Drive, Levittown

Bolton Mansion is hosting a day of fun with moonbounces, face painting, a petting zoo and more. Grab a bite to eat from the visiting food trucks and do a little shopping at the vendor tables. There will be kid-friendly ghost tours of the Mansion throughout the day and trunk or treating from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Ghost Tour at the Pearl S. Buck House

When: Sunday, October 28 at 4 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Where: 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie

Discover the REAL ghosts of the Pearl S. Buck House! The Pearl S. Buck Volunteer Association is hosting slightly spooky, family-friendly ghost tours. Visitors will encounter some of the many ghosts seen on the property by Pearl S. Buck, her neighbors, and house visitors. Read more about the tours here. Tours are approximately 40 minutes long. This event is suitable for middle school ages through adults. Tours are $15 per person and pre-registration is required. Click here to register.
