Halloween Themed Event (for adults) and Trick or Treat Trains (all ages) on the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad 

When: Select dates and times October 8 – October 31, see site for details
Where: New Hope & Ivyland Railroad, 32 W. Bridge St, New Hope

The New Hope Railroad is offering two Halloween-themed excursions – one for adults, and one for all ages. The adults event is meant to spook and delight passengers. The Trick or Treat event will include a live reading of Spookley the Square Pumpkin and trick or treating around the station platform. Masks are required while on the train.

Grand Opening of Fox & Holly at Peddler's Village

When: Friday, October 9 at 10 a.m.
Where: Peddler's Village, Shop 162, Lahaska

Formerly located in Doylestown, Fox & Holly was one of many businesses that was forced to close temporarily back in March. After the shutdown, founder Karen Thompson, made the difficult decision not to immediately reopen. Instead, she decided to relocate the boutique department store to Peddler's Village. All are welcome to the F&H’s grand opening on Friday, October 9th with a pink ribbon cutting ceremony at 10 AM. Along with the ceremony, there will be other surprises in store for those who attend. A portion of the sales will be donated to Pine2Pink for the day. No tickets necessary.

Fall Sips Festival at the NAC's Escape Resort, Restaurant & Bar

When: Friday, October 9 from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
Where: 120 Peasant Run Road, Newtown

The NAC's Escape Resort is keeping the fun of their Friday Night events going through October! These fall events will include free adult and family fun that's open to the community. There will be local breweries and food vendors, live music, field games, fire pits and kid-friendly activities. BYOC (Chair) for the bonfire/lounge area!

R.J. Leonard Foundation's Heart for Change: Together in Heart Virtual Gala

When: Friday, October 9 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.

It'll be the best time you'll have on Zoom all year … and it's for a great cause! The R.J. Leonard Foundation (RJLF) works with young adults aging out of the foster care system in Bucks and Montgomery Counties, offering them financial support as needed for education, transportation and social/cultural needs. Most importantly, however, RJLF is a mentorship program.

Help this inspiring non-profit continue their work by donating and/or joining them at their virtual gala Heart for Change: Together in Heart. The one-hour event will include testimonials from Fellows, entertainment and access to a live and silent auction. Find out more HERE.

Historic Fallsington Day

When: Saturday, October 10 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: 4 Yardley Avenue, Fallsington

“A celebration of our past” … just a little different this year! This free community event will feature some favorite activities of past years including demonstrations of Colonial skills, live music, local crafters and more.

Please note that there will be changes in order to provide a safe experience for everyone. Among these precautions: There will be no hayrides this year. Masks are required at all times. Food items will be prepared for carry out only.

Boo at Bolton: Food Truck Fest and Trick or Treating

When: Saturday, October 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: 85 Holly Drive, Levittown

Enjoy food trucks, vendors, children's activities, a DJ and trick-or-treating! Please wear a mask when not eating/drinking, practice social distancing and enter/exit from the driveway so they can monitor attendance.
