First Fridays on the Delaware, Bristol Borough
When: Friday, September 6 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Mill Street, Bristol Borough
Don’t miss the final First Friday celebration of the season! There will be live music, crafts, vendors, and more. The Flyers Community Caravan will be part of the free, family-friendly entertainment.
Summer Wine & Music Series at Crossing Vineyards: The Fabulous Greaseband
When: Friday, September 6 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 1853 Wrightstown Road, Washington Crossing
It's the final Friday in Crossing Vineyard's Summer Music Series! Enjoy music by The Fabulous Greaseband while sipping wine, beer and Crossing “crushies.” Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door.
52nd Annual Mill Street Run
When: Saturday, September 7 at 8 a.m.
Where: Mill Street, Bristol Borough
John Mundy and the Bristol Borough Business Association present Lower Bucks County’s longest running road race, a 5K foot race on the streets of Historic Bristol Borough. There will be several races throughout the morning. Children in grades 1st through 8th can race for free at 8 a.m. (Parent/guardian must register the student the day of the race.) High school varsity teams race at 8:30 a.m. (girls) and 9:15 a.m. (boys). And then there’s a 5K Open race at 9:45. Registration is $25 and includes a shirt. Get more information and register here.
2019 Doylestown Arts Festival
When: Saturday and Sunday, September 7 and 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Historic Doylestown
The 28th annual Doylestown Arts Festival returns! The event will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, turning historic Doylestown into a pedestrian zone. This is a free-to-attend community event, showcasing the abundance of art & culture in Doylestown – recently awarded the “Best Small Town Cultural Scene” in a nationwide vote. There will be 160 artists, 5 stages of live music, interactive demonstrations / live art, and a food court!
The National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa Polish-American Festival
When: Saturday and Sunday, September 7 and 8 from noon to 8 p.m.
Where: 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown
This annual event features two stages of live entertainment and reenactors, midway rides and games, vendors, crafters and more. Plus, feast on pierogi, potato placki, golabki and other Polish and American favorites. Admission is $12 per person with unlimited amusement rides! (Extreme rides are an additional cost.)
Food Truck Frenzy at Neshaminy Mall
When: Saturday, September 7 from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem
Feast on offerings from over 15 of the area’s best food trucks! There will also be children’s activities, vendors, a DJ and more.
Falls Township Family Festival
When: Saturday, September 7 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: Falls Township Community Park, 9061 Mill Creek Road, Levittown
This free family-friendly is an annual favorite. There will be bounce houses, face painting, balloon artistry, a petting zoo, food, vendors and more! Fireworks will end the evening at dusk, around 7:30 p.m.
Run Now Wine Later 5K & Wine Festival
When: Sunday, September 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Where: Bucks County Playhouse, 70 S. Main Street, New Hope
Ring in the fall season with a run through historic New Hope! The run finishes at the entrance of the Bucks County Playhouse, marking the start of the food and wine tasting festival. Get more details and register for the event here.
Rosh Hashanah Farmer’s Market
When: Sunday, September 8 from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Where: McCaffrey’s, 635 Heacock Road, Yardley
Kids can start the year out fresh with an organic, hands-on experience bringing the local goodness of the High Holidays to life!
