Poland through the Ages: A Living History Event @ National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa

We invite you to the first ever Poland through the Ages: A Living History Faire.

Memorial Day Weekend, May 27-29, 2017 / 11:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Discover 10th-20th Century Poland as portrayed by members of several different Living History Groups. There will be a special program for children/youth on Saturday 5/27, including Tea with the Queen and a Princess/Knight Pageant. Sunday 5/28 relive the Siege of Jasna Gora as the Swedes try to invade the Shrine and the Royal Banquet. There will be entertainment, demos, period clothing, games, battles, storytelling, great food and fun for all.

Dress up in period clothing and come join us! We welcome all nobles and peasants!

Admission: $8 per person / $5 child under 12 & seniors 65+

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series returns to The Mann Center for the Performing Arts with Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets™, the second film in the Harry Potter franchise. On July 28, 2017, The Philadelphia Orchestra will perform John Williams’ unforgettable score from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets™ while the film plays in high-definition on a 40-foot screen. The Harry Potter Film Concert Series, which is another magical experience from J.K. Rowling’s Wizarding World, kicked off in June 2016 with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone™ and is scheduled to include hundreds of performances across more than 35 countries around the world through 2018.

Tickets will be available Friday, March 24th at 10AM via MannCenter.org, Ticketmaster.com, 800-745-3000, or the Mann Box Office.

This Shamrock Shuffle offers more than your typical 5K. Once you finish running through historic Newtown, we invite you to keep the party going!
