Have an itch to travel? Bucks County Community College invites the public on several bus tours departing round-trip from the Newtown campus.  See below for a list of fall and holiday trips:

Greenwich Village Eating Tour, New York, N.Y. Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club, 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Fri. Oct. 20, 2017. Tickets $75 public, $70 seniors over 65, $25 BCCC students. Eat your way through the small streets and bustling shopping areas that are and were home to famous artists, authors and musicians.

Tenement Museum, New York, N.Y.  Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club, 7:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Fri. Oct. 27, 2017. Tickets $75 public, $70 seniors over 65, $25 BCCC students. The five-story brick tenement building in Manhattan’s Lower East Side was home to an estimated 7,000 people, from over 20 nations, between 1863 and 1935. The museum promotes tolerance and historical perspective on the immigrant experience.

Museum of the American Revolution, Philadelphia, Pa. Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Fri. Nov. 3, 2017. Tickets $40 public, $35 seniors over 65, $20 BCCC students. New museum dedicated to telling the story of the American Revolution.

Smithsonian National Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C. Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club,7:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. Sat. Nov. 11, 2017. Tickets $60 public, $55 seniors over 65, $25 BCCC students. The gallery’s vast collection traces the development of Western Art from the Middle Ages to the present, including the only painting by Leonardo daVinci in the Americas and the largest mobile created by Alexander Calder.

American Swedish Historical Museum, Philadelphia, Pa. Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club, 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. Fri. Nov. 17, 2017. Tickets $40 public, $35 seniors over 65, $20 BCCC students. Founded in 1926, the museum in South Phila. is dedicated to preserving and promoting Swedish and Swedish-American cultural heritage and traditions.

New York City for the Holidays. Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club, 7:30 a.m. – 8 p.m. Fri. Dec. 8 or Sat. Dec. 16, 2017. Tickets $55 public, $50 seniors over 65, $25 BCCC students. Free time on your own to explore Manhattan decorated in holiday splendor.

Longwood Gardens Christmas, Kennett Square, Pa. Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club, 12:30 – 9 p.m. Sat. Dec. 9, 2017. Tickets $75 public, $70 seniors over 65, $25 BCCC students. Longwood Gardens decorated with more than 6,000 seasonal plants and a half-million lights. The newly restored colorful fountains dance to holiday music, while sing-alongs, strolling carolers, and performances fill the gardens with festive cheer.
