Have you ever looked into your closet and wondered what to do with all the formal attire from proms, events, and weddings that you know you’ll never wear again?  One Bucks County college student has the perfect plan for you!  Nia Rametta, Deleware Valley College student of class 2016, along with some of her fellow students spent their early spring this year collecting 500 prom dresses and accessories for deserving area high school students.

She did this through a national group called Becca’s Closet that collects formal attire and holds events to help girls all over the country find the perfect gown for their big night.  The Del Val Chapter, which became an official college club this year thanks to Rametta’s efforts, had an event right on campus on May 3rd.  Prom season is in full swing and it is because of great people like Nia Rametta and the Deleware Valley College Community that every girl gets to feel like a princess.
