Tucked into the rolling hills of New Hope, Pennsylvania, Jericho National Golf Club is well known for its world-class golf facilities, beautiful greens and breathtaking views. What Bucks residents may not know is that the club offers delicious cuisine that golfers and non-golfers alike can appreciate. At a cost of only $10 a year, guests may purchase a dining membership, which allows them to experience the culinary creations of Executive Chef Verdine Hurt at any of the club’s three private dining facilities. Dining members may also attend the club’s themed dinner events and brunches.

“The dining membership is a great option for someone who wants to entertain clients over dinner but doesn’t want a loud, over-crowded atmosphere,” says Carmella Bryant, Banquet Sales Coordinator for the club. “Really, it’s good for anyone who wants to belong to a beautiful club but isn’t necessarily interested in golfing.”

Dining members have several options when choosing where to eat. Charlie’s Tavern is a pub-style restaurant space with a large patio area. With a casual atmosphere, it is an ideal place to relax with a beer while watching the day’s sporting events on one of the several large flat screen televisions. The Restaurant is a more formal dining option with casually elegant fare. Open Thursday to Saturday from 5-9 p.m., it is perfect for a night out with friends or for a business dinner. The Members’ Lounge is located adjacent to the restaurant and offers happy hour from 5-6:30 p.m.64622_290446967689058_492256571_n

The food is received fresh daily and prepared and cooked on-site. Chef Hurt devises and executes a menu that changes seasonally, with daily specials for lunch and dinner. “And he’s known for his fried chicken!” adds Bryant.

In addition to restaurant access, dining members are invited to participate in the club’s themed meal events. These include a decadent seafood buffet dubbed “King Neptune Night,” wine pairing dinners, Easter brunches, Mother’s Day brunches, and a brunch with Santa during the holidays. Also during the holiday season, busy members can take advantage of Jericho’s “Thanksgiving & Christmas Meals To Go” and pick up a turkey or a ham with all the trimmings and sides prepared and ready to eat. Members can also host events in the private dining spaces or pick up food for a home event or office meeting.

Children are welcome at Jericho, which makes the dining membership a great option for families. All the dining facilities offer children’s menus, and the club holds events all year long geared towards families, including a tented barbecue outside every Sunday during the summer.

Jericho works to ensure their guests consistently enjoy a memorable dining experience with service that sets them apart from a typical night out at a chain restaurant. “There is no hour long wait to be seated, and our staff gets to know all the members by name. It makes for a more personal and pleasant dining experience,” says Bryant. And no matter where guests dine at Jericho, they get to appreciate the breathtaking views of the beautifully maintained golf course. As Bryant says, “We always want our guests’ dining experience to exceed their expectations and their palate!”
