Spring has sprung and that means it's also time for one of the sweetest holidays of the year, Easter.  Of course, part of the fun of the Easter holiday is the hunt to find all it's delicious treats! Check out these fun Easter events happening around Bucks County:

Lower Bucks

Hop on over to Buttonwood Park for Yardley Borough's annual Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday April 16th and then follow Peter Cottontail over to the Old Libary for snacks and a chance to take your picture with your favorite bunny. Co-sponsored by the Yardley Recreation Board and the Yardley Historical Association.

For 3 days, from Thursday, April 21st to Saturday April 23rd, Shady Brook Farm in Yardley is celebrating with an Easter Egg Hunt extravaganza.  Each day from 11am to 4pm, stop by for hayride, prizes, eggs, container and crafts.  Cost is $8 per child while adults ride and enjoy for free! Bring non-perishable food item or pair of shoes for Re-Use Your Shoes and take $1.00 off admission.

Celebrate Spring with an old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt on the beautiful grounds of Cherokee Day Camp along the bank of the Neshaminy River. There will be a face painter and balloon artist on hand, along with refreshments for the whole family.  All kids will go home with a prize but the “egg”citing thing is that the child who finds the Golden Egg will win an entire eight (8) week session at Cherokee Day Camp this summer!

On Saturday, April 16th, Pickering Manor North Field in Newtown hosts the annual NBPA Easter Egg Hunt at 9am.  Children of all ages can join the Easter Bunny on a fun filled egg hunt. NBPA members will donate over 500 prizes in addition to the candy filled eggs. Children will be divided into different age groups to make it a safe experience for everyone. An adult & grandparent egg hunt will round up the event.

In Levittown, join the annual Salvation Army Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23rd, at 11 AM. Bring your children (ages 2 to 12) and a basket to collect.

Central Bucks

Enjoy Egg Decorating at Town Crier Bakery in Peddler's Village 3:00PM on Saturday, April 23rd.

Hop aboard the Easter Bunny Express in New Hope! The Easter Bunny himself will be onboard the antique train on select dates this Easter Season. During the train ride the Easter Bunny will visit every child, hand out special treats, and pose for photos taken by our staff photographer. Our photo packages make great gifts or family mementos, and will be made available onboard the train.  Ticket price includes 45 minute, 9 mile round trip ride in one of our antique railcars, visit from the Easter Bunny, special treats for the children, and historic narration about the train, railroad and landmarks along the way.

Don't miss this super fun Easter Egg Hunt at Forest Grove Village Preschool in Furlong on April 16th at 10AM.  Be sure to RSVP right away, the Egg Hunt is in an enclosed playground and there are only 50 spots open!  Be sure to bring a basket and your camera for photos for the Easter Bunny.

Also in Jamison on April 16th, celebrate the season at the Warwick Township's Egg Hunt.  Bring the children to the Community Park for an afteroon of family fun as the kids join their age group and scour the park for eggs.  Special Prizes for kiddos who find the golden ticket. Bring your camera for photos with the Easter Bunny! FREE!

At Krupp Park on April 16th, Chalfont holds the Lions Easter Egg Hunt from 11am to 1pm. Come meet the Easter Bunny, enjoy face painting, crafts and alternating age group egg hunts. This event is free and no reservations are required.

Join the eggcitement at the annual Doylestown Township Parks & Recreation Egg Hunt on April 16th at 10am. Don’t forget your camera for the great photo opportunities and basket (or bag) for collecting eggs. Each age group; 2-3, 4-5, 6-8, and 7-9 will have their own egg hunt time (beginning at 10:00 am). We suggest early arrival to find parking and your child’s correct age group. Preregistration is not required.

The Buckingham Township Civic Association will be holding its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday April 16th from 10 AM to Noon at Holicong Park. Besides the usual exciting and rewarding scrambles for goodies, there will be fun activities such as bunny sack races, duck pond “fishing” and Easter bonnet making. Plus, children are encouraged to bring along a colored drawing to be judged. Hop on over on April 16th and enjoy the fun. 

Upper Bucks

Sellersville holds their annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 23rd at 1pm. Hop on over and enjoy the fun!

There are lots of options for Quakertown residents:

– The Easter bunny arrives at the Quakertown Farmer's Market on Friday, April 15th at 10am. Then on Saturday, April 16th, the 36th Annual Easter Egg Hunt takes place at 10pm.  With over 12,000 candy eggs and 1,000's of prices, there will be sessions for five different age groups.

Morning Star Fellowship Church holds an Easter Egg hunt on Sunday, 4/16 at 1pm.

– Then on Saturday, April 23rd, Quakertown Christian School holds their annual Easter egg hunt at 10am for children, youth, and the young at heart with special needs (siblings also welcome!). Join in for lots of games, crafts, snacks, door prizes, and music in addition to finding the ‘Golden Egg'. Bring your own basket!
