June is the perfect month to get a taste of lavender. From June to July lavender is in full bloom making it an ideal time for a lavender themed summer retreat hosted by Lambertville Station and Peace Valley Lavender Farm.

Throughout the month of Junes guests can partake in lavender themed lunches at Lambertville Station, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays starting at 11:30 a.m. and follow-up with a farm tour. Each $30 ticket includes a meal of a salad entrée topped with grilled lavender-marinated chicken tossed in a light vinaigrette, followed by a Lavender-infused crème Brulee. The meal will be served at Lambertville Station in historic Lambertville, New Jersey prior to taking a field trip over to the Peace Valley Lavender Farm in Doylestown.

The Peace Valley Lavender farm enjoys a scenic view of Lake Galena. Guests can arrive for their one-hour tour at 1:30 p.m. and get to pick their own bouquet while surrounded by a sea of blue-violet blossoms. Each guest will take home a sweet-smelling gift.
