The ACME Screening Room is pleased to present “Adventures of a Secret Kidd: The Mass Hallucination of Kenn Kweder,” a documentary which follows the Philly rock hero’s career spanning over four decades. Event starts at 7 PM on Friday, April 21st 2017. His songs including Heroin, The Ballad of Manute Bol, and The Girl with the Dylan Flowers have become local favorites.
Kenn Kweder has been playing music in Philadelphia since the 1970’s with an unapologetic and unforgettable style and attitude. His Secret Kidds completely changed the music scene for local artists but never took off on the national stage. Take a glimpse inside the world of a true rock and roller – still playing gigs and drinking the city under the table.
Kweder is a living reminder to do what you love. No matter your version of success – we all participate in the mass hallucination of Kenn Kweder.
