Art at Kings Oaks Presents Work by 26 Artists
October 6, 2017 @ 12:00 am - October 15, 2017 @ 12:00 am| Free
Art at Kings Oaks, a pop-up art exhibition in an historic barn and chapel on Kings Oaks Farm near Newtown, Pennsylvania, returns for the fifth year this October 6-15, 2017 to present their largest group of artists to date. The exhibition includes paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, ceramics, and installation works by 26 renowned and emerging artists from the Northeastern and mid-Atlantic U.S and Italy.
The two-weekend exhibition, attended by over 500 visitors each year, began in 2012 when Bucks County painter Alex Cohen renovated the 19th-century barn and stone chapel on Kings Oaks Farm into gallery spaces. While it has grown in scope and size, the artist-lead project maintains its vision of offering a naturally beautiful and intimate setting for viewing art, welcoming to both artists and art lovers alike. This year’s exhibition is co-curated by Cohen and Ithaca-based painter and printmaker Gillian Pederson-Krag.
